Visited the santander bank on melton road. Was waiting over 25 minutes to be seen by a customer service adviser. Not once did anyone approach and ask if they van help with anything. Ended up leaving after 25 minutes as had to go back to work

Customer services are super slow and idle chitchat lasts so long, my coffee went cold after 20 minutes waiting, I had to leave as the counter staff are too slow and spend too long in getting banking done. The customer services desk is mounted by a security guard and I still couldn?t? pay cash and cheques. The Uppingham Toad branch was refitted with modern fixtures and fittings but two months later after spending over hundred thousand plus you close the branch down . I fail to see why close every branch and make zero provisions for banking. I will be looking very hard to remain as I need a bank branch that meets my needs and not just shareholders

i have tried to contact via chat box but it was useless! i was informed that someone would contact me. it never happened!!!i have tried calling on 2 occasions, first time i was on hold for around 40 minutes. and second time over an hour! still not answered!! Is this customer care? Quick enough to take peoples money but when it comes to providing a service, it is useless!!!

Located on the main road of Melton road alongside with other banks. It's a small branch however it's has 3 counter, a customer service counter and 2-3 ATM machines inside the bank. If you want to go then choose either early in morning or afternoon as you won't encounter many people there. If you going in car then you need to find parking in nearby streets ( usually busy ) so never guaranteed you will find a space however it does have paid and display car park within 2 mins walking distance it's not a big issue nevertheless. They have regular working hours now 9am to 5pm ( however subject to change due to Covid 19 ) and they do open on Saturday from 9 am to 3:30 pm at the time of writing

Visited bank this morning, very cold and very long queue. Staff came out n spoke to first couple of people in the queue not bothering with others who might want to use the vacant ATM inside the bank to do their transactions. Staff came out again so I approached them asked if I could use the ATM inside just told to hang on before he could speak to me then suddenly he just turned n went back in branch without speaking to me.Then someone with a small child just walked straight into the branch and started using the ATM.I walked in and asked for the chap who was rude to at the door n wrote his name which I requested was Kol personal banker. Then was told it was ok to use ATM.Need to monitor queues n talk to their customers in these trying time so customers can quickly finish their banking needs n get back to safety.My local branch at Beaumont Leys always have a member of staff at door constantly asking how they can help with their transactions. Hardly a queue n always very helpful.Shame on Santander n especially Kol if that's his real name since offered him my business card for personal details.Should be helping your customers not leaving them out in the cold.Will avoid branch n poor service in these trying times n future.Stick to local branch where customers still matter.

Although Santander is a very good 5 star bank, this BELGRAVE RD BRANCH, LEICESTER is the WORST branch ever. I will NEVER use this branch ever again. It took me 1 hour and 10 mins just to put money in my account and transfer it. Staff are far too slow. Very friendly and start chatting to you ignoring the big queue. Only 2 staff at the tills and a queue of very ANGRY, fed up, frantically waiting 9 people. The manager really needs to pull his socks up and make changes.

A good Santander branch that offers all the usual banking services. Staff are friendly and always willing to help. It can get very busy especially at lunch times but I guess that's the norm for most banks. Overall I have always had good experiences at this branch.
