The guy that runs it is nice but that's all I have to say. My business relies on this office being open and I've shown up on multiple occasions to a closed shop during opening hours...

Turned up at 11:20 to send a package and it was closed regardless of their opening times saying they would be open. No notice on the door to say when they would be open. Terrible service from a much needed public amenity.

Regrettably, the service I here is not very professional. I don't like the fact that your parcels are left in the shop and not secure behind the counter. However, the main issue for me is the inconsistency of the opening hours. The post office is crucial to the village. Its infuriating to turn up only to it's ,closed for a few hours or closed all day. It's meant to be a business not a hobby.

I've resigned to the fact that this is most certainly a place i will NEVER go again...so I may aswell share my experiences of this terrible post office, which for a village like Quorn, is unfortunately being let down by the staff that is running it. Every time, without fail you queue. We're not talking 2-5 min queue, we are talking 10..15 ...20 minutes. There is NO sense of urgency, no common sense that the shop is FULL of annoyed people. Today, a simple prepaid QR code baffled him ( I say "him" because there is just 1 solitary guy there at all times) refused to print it and argued with me in front a line of customers waiting. The code printed off a prepaid address label to stick on a parcel /letter. I saw it after he'd finally print it. It had an address on it, looked perfect to me. He said it didn't look "right " and refused to give it to me stating it should have a " tracked 48" on it. It was a large letter. Its never going to have that on it if I've not chosen yo send it that way! I was absolutely shocked with his attitude. I left, went straight to Mountsorrel where a smiley, wonderful lady did EXACTLY the same and it was zero problem for her.I've been in before and he's been on the shop floor. His mobile started ringing and he went to answer it and had a full on private phone call whilst I stood waiting like a muppet!!I have to say aswell that I don't agree with the bags of parcels left on the shop floor for anyone to simply take! You have to put your parcels in yourself..then leave them on the shop floor whilst he sits behind a locked door! It makes zero sense and is so unsafe! For future reference- just drive 5 minutes to Mountsorrel Post Office instead. You'll probably be served much quicker anyway !!!! I'd give it zero stars if I could. Such a shame this village is being let down.

Bob who runs this shop is very strange. Would not take my parcel as he states I don?t work for his shop so why should he store it for me even though that was the collection point available via Royal Mail. Rude and arrogant not the slightest bit understanding or helpful. Avoid this post office and go to Loughborough.

Started coming over to Quorn to use the post office but will be using Loughborough from now on. The man working there made me feel very uncomfortable; strange stares and silent treatment. Weird customer service!

I should have believed the other reviews. Went to drop off a Parcelforce package and the first words I was met with were "That's a bit big" and told to take it to the delivery office in Loughborough instead. What kind of Post Office refuses to accept parcels? I was literally asked "What am I supposed to do with that?". Won't be going back again.

Bob provided phenomenal customer service. I go into this post office of a regular basis and I am always greeted by with a smile and kindness. Bob is extremely professional and provides excellent advice and service. I highly recommend it post office. I would go as far to say, it is the best post office in the UK. Thank you for the excellent service.

Phoned up to query a delivery that wasn't delivered correctly to my house. Was told that they didn't have time to talk to me as they had customers in the shop and I should sort it out with Loughborough. Even though it was their postie who just randomly shoved a Christmas gift in my front garden and stated it was my safe place...

Whilst reading some negative reviewsI have had the opposite experience!I am wheelchair bound and apart from waiting outside for the best time for the post master to leave the station,No problems and very accommodatingBut there Again I dont have aCondescending Attitude!!!!

If you need to post a 2nd class letter then Bob and his team ?may? be able to help.Other than that, they?re useless, as widely known by all. They cannot (or will not) perform other simple tasks that every other post office in the country can provide.Depositing cash? No can doCollecting missed parcels? No can doComplaint forms? No can doThe list goes on, you?ll find better social skills in a zoo.

If being lucky to have a post office means - 9 people in a Queue, marker pens £3.99 (79p elsewhere) Tape £1.99 (50p elsewhere) pretty much everything 4 x more expensive, together with service without a smile and at a snails pace I'll stick with Bedford Square in Loughborough. Lightning service and grateful people. No wonder reviews are so poor.
