Slow staff and pathetic customer service , I was there with my one month old , my baby was crying and instead of helping me to find Shoe size for my 5 year old , the lady asked me to find the shoe by myself.

Staff here are very slow and don't seem particularly helpful, however the manager is even worse he was so rude and obnoxious when confronted with an enquiry about returning some items to the point where he just walked off mid conversation and then ended up arguing with my partner.To be honest I don't know how this branch of sports direct is still going, the whole shop is a mess, I've seen tidier jumble sales and the staff are so slow and unhelpful they seem to be more interested in flirting with each other than actually doing their jobs, we had to wait for them to fetch a pair of trainers, it seemed like we were waiting for ages and it turns out they just forgot and never came back because the girl we asked had finished her shift and just decided to leave us waiting...I would honestly travel out of my way to go to a different sports direct rather than this one.

This is the worst store I have ever come across.I exchanged a pair of goalkeeper gloves for a smaller junior pair and was expecting a £4 refund until I was told by the so called manager that " We don't give refunds" but you can have a credit note, which I explained was of no use to me and could I please have my £4 refunded.He flatly refused saying it wasn't the stores policy to give refunds.I will never shop at sports direct again.

Very well stocked as always?.. But It seems that it?s another retailer with minimal staff. Couldn?t find anyone to get us the our shoe size to try on. Also at the tills the staff seemed more interested in each other than the customers. And how many times did you have to ask ?do you need a bag!?? - if you listened the first time instead of flirting with your work colleague, I said No!

Beware of the in-store returns policy:Despite the decent products and brands, nonetheless, beware that the in-store returns policy is extremely greedy.Word of advice, if you do not want to end up with a "credit note/voucher" (which you might be ending up misplacing as it's a tiny piece of paper - I lost two already), makesure before you pay anything at the tills that the item(s) are exactly what you want, e.g. size/colour/fit/etc.Even without leaving the shop, if on your way out you find that it was not what you wanted, or you saw something better but cheaper, you are never going to get your excess difference or your money back/returned onto your card.When money/cards are paid to Sports Direct, only credit notes or vouchers are issued.My recent experience refers to the item being purchased as a gift. When the person (gift receiver) sent me their size, it was too late as the card payment had already gone through.The store didn't have the right size, and the only option was to get the item at SD online with delivery charges.Luckily, many businesses are not operating this type of returns satisfaction policy these days, the opposite of "not happy, we give your money back".Obviously, there is always the online SD store, where you can use the credit note issued if your shop does not have what you want, but even, e.g. to exchange a size that the store did not have in stock, you must have to pay charges on the top for that item to be delivered to the store.

Terrible service I arrived with my football boots I was trying to find the correct studs to replace my missing studs I asked for help i was guided me to were the selection of studs where I was told to get studs with a wide plastic ring on it after purchasing them and returning home they were the wrong size. This happened several times wich is why I'm complaining 20+ quid down the drain.I have now given up hope and no longer buying equipment from sports direct.I wasnt even allowed a refund.

Awful staff with awful service. 3 people at the tills, one serving. The other 2 too busy unpacking socks to serve paying customers. Make you play musical tills.

When you buy the things online, the shop accept your item as a return, but do not refund. They just give you a credit.You can post it the their warehouse for a full refund, but you have to pay the postage fee!NO MORE sportdirect!

After going in to buy some shoes for my two children we found some that they liked but had to wait for fifteen minutes before being asked if we needed any shoes bringing out. We got both pairs and one was ok but the other was wrong, each shoe was a different colour. When we asked for the correct pair we were told they were exactly the same even though you could see the difference on the sole and the inner lining. They were also manufactured in different countries. After the floor supervisor came to talk to us she was insistent they were "close enough" and refused to acknowledge they were different. After a disagreement there we proceeded to purchase the pair that was ok only to find out they cost £10 more than where they were neatly racked. This did indeed turn out to be due to the fact they were in the wrong place but it turned out there were lots mixed up.We ended up leaving with nothing and annoyed. I wouldn't use the Loughborough store again due to the staff being more willing to argue than listen.
