Thought I'd get some banking done during my lunch break queue was almost to the door, and only 2 people left in the ten minutes I was waiting... meaning I'd have had to wait around a hour.No phone signal so couldn't tell wife that I wouldn't be at the car by the time she was done shopping and the wifi they provide (to their credit) needs you to verify your number with a text (see above no phone signal).Didn't bother queuing in the end will be looking for an alternative main bank. They need both more staff on the counter and a greeter to redirect people that can to the machines during peak hours.

Unhelpful staff, wanted to open 123 mini for my son, had all the paperwork needed, however will not print a form needed unless I have appointment. No appointments till December next year. Told to wait a few weeks and see if more open up in March. Terrible service. Bad system. Moving all my accounts

Mourning the loss of a more local branch. Directed here by the phone banking who said "it closes 12.30pm on a Saturday" got there to find a sign saying they had closed early today. Why didn't the branch staff inform customer services? What a waste of time and money getting there.

Branch is cosy and friendly. Staff are always so helpful. As a customer who is disabled and elderly I feel totally at ease with everyone from manager Karen Whatsize to the newest clerk. To make life easier for me Karen suggested online banking to me and it has been so easy and an absolute godsend but I still like to use the branch on a regular but less frequent basis. I have never regretted leaving Barclay's for Santander I feel very well looked after.

Staff can be pushy in trying to sell you crap. Just keep saying you're not interested and they'll eventually back off.
