I shopped in the store for a few bits and pieces, including a last minute birthday card and small gift for a relative. The choice was very good and the friendly help and service from the assistant whilst maintaining the Covid rules was excellent

Lovely little store great staff they always have a smile on their faces and even with everything going on in the world thay are always helpful and great you with a hello. It is also great to see that their is an actual shop on the High Street. Keep up the good work girls.

Double yellow lines were put on the High Street solely because of parking linked to this store. They are completely ignored however, and all day and night dozens of people park illegally to use this store and especially the atm, leaving their engines running, despite a free car park, or a single yellow line, being literally seconds away. If double red lines are put on the high street to deal with this, as is likely, it will again be solely down to McColl's, and they will have negatively affected other businesses even more. Also, it is by a very long way the scruffiest shop in Barton: it looks derelict; this has partly wasted the effort neighboring shops have put in to make their businesses look nice from the outside.

The pandemic precautions are excellent and the staff ensure social distancing while remaining polite and helpful, (they are Lovely People) they cannot do enough to make sure you have everything you needI have been a customer for many years and will continue to be one

burger locked in this shop had to smash way out sean dunnaway jailed 1 year WWWGRIMSBY TELEGRAPH. Been here before in 1990s when on training course at dam road , barton upon humber.
