I had Sunday Roast - came here on my own, which can be hit or miss but was warmly welcomed by Rachel. The roast was lovely - choice of three meats and all the trimmings. Excellent value and will definitely be back.

From the meet and great at the door to ordering the drinks and food at the bar was very good.A wide ranch of food on the carvery.Every thing about the food was top apart from the roast photos. Some where under done and some was very dry with no filling. But the rest was lovely. When leaving the staff wad chatting away and never acknowledge us, only when we said good and thank you they said good bye.We will go again to give it another try.Parking: Leaving the car park not very clear. Due to the arrows on the carpark road.

We (party of 3) visitedcfir drinks and a meal. It was New Years Day it was very quiet. I was disappointed to find the carvery was Sunday price and the wine very expensive. No wonder it was empty. I have visited regularly and I must say the food has improved in the last few months. I stopped using the pub for over a year as the carvery and quality of food was terrible. I have been a few times in recent weeks and I am please to say it has greatly improved. The staff are friendly and helpful, although slow to clear tables if I have to be picky. (I have worked in hospitality myself). On the whole my friends and myself did enjoy the meal and found it a pleasant experience.

Went for Christmas Dinner. It was excellent. Staff very friendly and professional. This is the first time we have eaten out for Christmas Dinner and so glad we chose this location. We will certainly have Christmas Dinner there again next year.

Polite, friendly and welcoming staff. Checked regularly that all was OK but not intrusive. The 3 course meal was delicious, and served at a pace to suit us.Parking: Close by, plenty of parking - never had a problem finding a space.

The food was piping hot but lot of the pots of veg were almost empty and the gammon was very dry. The chairs were absolutely filthy and some threadbare. I think wipeable material would be better for cleanliness. Could not get a seat away from the loud and screeching music, which is not to everyone's taste, wouldn't have been so bad if it was turned low if on at all.

Been coming here since I?ve been at primary school with family. We always come together at the TrawlerMan and it?s always a wonderful atmosphere. Not to mention the BEST carvery I?ve ever had , every single time. Toby Carvery doesn?t compareCauliflower cheese is the best

A typical Marstons pub. We did come in close to food last orders - so it was a bit rushed - cheesy nachos were served cold! There was a rowdy bunch playing pool - but that could happen anywhere and it's not against the law to have fun ?. The burgers were ok and my wife's Steak & Ale pie was very nice apparently ?.

Food was very good for a carvery. Staff were all absolutely excellent. Atmosphere was good. Only thing that let it down was the toilets... no lockable cubicles is a poor show.

Even though we are not local, we are fairly regular visitors. Love the summer breakfast carvery and we've even had breakfast outdoors in the sun. Always great value food, and cocktails. Our last visit was for the three course Christmas Fayre, washed down with......cocktails!

I visited the restaurant midweek and was looking forward to the carvery. The place was quiet and I was soon to see why. I would imagine that this business depends heavily on seasonal business were a high percentage of customers only visit once or twice. I had paid for the carvery for my wife and I and stood behind a few other customers including 4 young adults. When I saw the amount of meat each person was given I was to say the least very dissapointed. I do enjoy a carvery and compered this to what I am used to. We decided to cancel and I explained the reason why. She explained that the meat portions had to be measured out and the amount had been decided by there head office. I felt that people who holiday who ate there would not be to bothered about the portions as they were on Holiday. I felt that this did not represent a fair deal @ £8.95

Meal was fantastic as well as the service right from booking the table a few days before up until the end of our meal and leaving. Probably the best carvery we've eaten in a long time (and we've eaten a few!!!). WELL
