My wife took the mother in law and our daughter for afternoon tea today, portions were generous, food was reasonable but service and atmosphere was shocking. They all came back stressed and feeling highly unwelcome.Apparently a till issue meant they had to wait 15 minutes for a drink, even then they had to ask, when asking for an extra box to for the extra food they were given awful attitude by the staff (no extra box was brought)Certainly won?t be back anytime soon, and overall a very disappointing experience for what was meant to be a Mother?s Day treat!

First time visiting and wow! What a little gem. The ambience is lovely with lots of little trinkets and handmade gifts to buy. The service was lovely and the food was fantastic and good value, I had jacket potato with chilli and cheese for £8:25 I ate it before getting a picture. Will be back for more ?

We had dropped the car off at the garage and were walking into town. It was very cold and I remembered this coffee place a friend had told us about. We went in and received a warm welcome. Our order was soon brought to our table and the coffee was very welcome. We paid up and were sent on our way with cheerful good byes.This place is very clean and well decorated. We will definitely go there again, oh, and it's right at the side of the river Trent. On a warmer day, you can sit outside

Went there with my friend yesterday, on her recommendation. Brilliant! Excellent customer service?.so friendly! Food was fantastic?.great choice, get presentation, superbly cooked, great price. Would definitely recommend?just wish I lived closer! ??

Lovely place and great food. Could be better signposted as I drove past it 3 times and ended up having to park somewhere and walk over to find it. Very tasty breakfast and good quality ingredients. The only thing I'd say is that I have run out of toast before I finished everything else. May be just me, but I could do with another half a toast. It's a bit pricey, so wouldn't use it every day, but perfect as a little treat from time to time. Would definitely come back again if I'm in the area.

Rang just an hour ahead and reserved a table for 5. Glad we did because the place filled up quite quickly.Marvellous service, smiley staff, great food and very reasonably priced.Couldn?t fault the place and will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Queued for 15 minutes then a member of staff shows the two ladies behind me to a table - thus jumping the queue - without even acknowledging my existence. Just rude.

Had an overnight stay in Gainsborough with my wife. We whent for lunch,which was excellent, and decided to go for breakfast the next day. This was also excellent and both meals were extremely good value for money. No hesitation in recommending Reeds to anyone.
