Have used Vision Express for years however this store has provided a nightmare experience. Very poor service from the staff who measure pupils etc for glasses. Would not use again as apparently the customer is always wrong.

Lovely telephone manner when arranging appointment.On arrival was seen immediately without having to wait.All preliminary tests were completed efficiently and politely.The Optician explained every step and answered all questions with a knowledgable and professional manner, showing me courtesy and politeness.Great patience and genuine feedback given when choosing new frames.No hard sell and time given to choose.Friendly atmosphere within the optician and all members of staff polite and genuinely happy to help!Thank you!

Thoroughly unimpressed (with the company, not the Gainsborough branch, where the staff are very helpful and kind). I got a text message from Vision Express saying my children were due an eye test, so I booked online using the link provided, but upon arriving was told that they weren?t actually due for another 3 weeks and due to NHS rules couldn?t be seen before they were due. So why send me a text then? Or why not put the due date in the message, rather than wasting my morning going to an appointment we weren?t allowed to have?! Serious lack of organisation and customer care.

It was the first time at Vision Express. I was very pleased, the staff were absolutely brilliant, made me feel at ease. My experience was very pleasant, I got the best service and can't wait to get my glasses.

Excellent service and attention to detail . Very competent optician who went above and beyond . All in all a very pleasant and easy experience.; albeit some of the younger staff seemed to be in training mode - however the manager who had her eye on the ball showed great diplomacy and skill and was able to get the best from the young women!

Came here on the 14th June had my eyes tested all the staff very friendly and very helpful going from glasses to contact lenses. Had a message on the 16th saying my contact lenses where in the shop went there to pick up and everyone brilliant made sure I could put them in and take them out properly before I could leave everyone is so friendly will be always coming here for my eyes tested should of come here years ago beats specsavers hands down. Plus they don't pick the dearest out for you when choosing not like specsavers I'm sure the staff there was on commission always picking the most expensive frames etc.Will be recommending Vision Express to friends and family my wife had her eyes tested and got a beautiful pair of glasses everything is 1st class service from having your eyes tested to choosing your glasses and contact lenses to paying great place great service staff here are awesome 2 very satisfied customers
