Our car has been having problems for a few months and this finally escalated last weekend. We found out through a mobile mechanic that we had severe break problems (which we knew because we could hear metal on metal). It?s one of those car problems you know are going to big, so you want to call around and find the best team for the job. Top Gear was exactly that team. They caught our eyes from their amazing reviews, and they absolutely lived up to them. From giving us quotes for three different kinds of parts to accommodate any financial budgets, to being extremely friendly and welcoming when we arrived, to being communicative throughout the repair process, Top Gear really cares about the cars and the people in them.

Absolutely fantastic customer service from start to finish. I cannot recommend Top Gear enough. Especially to other females who fret about taking their car into garages and worry they might be ripped off. Chris was transparent from the start about the costs and his communication throughout was brilliant. I was always kept up to date and made to feel reassured. Amazing service and know how at reasonable prices; whether it?s a 20 year old Golf or a nearly new Audi Paul has looked after my cars superbly. He always explains what?s wrong ; doesn?t spend money unless he?s spoken to you first and will squeeze you in if it?s an emergency. He?s brilliant.

I recently had a major service done by this mechanic, and I was thoroughly impressed. He took the time to explain all the tasks involved and even identified and diagnosed additional issues with my car.Chris's attention to detail was exceptional, and he made sure to spend ample time both over the phone and in person addressing my concerns.I highly recommend this mechanic to anyone in need of automotive services. Overall, a perfect 10 out of 10 experience!

I can't recommend this place enough. I was having so many issues with DPF with my car and was bringing it almost every week to another garage without any success. Being a DPF specialist, Chris explained and showed me live data as to why the DPF was not regenerating itself, applied a fix and stayed in touch during the week after the repair has been done to make sure the car was happy and working in perfect order. A week later even offered to test it again as a reassurance measure. I would give it a 10 if Google let me.Thanks Top Gear.
