Just been in to get some clothes went to self checkout that I hate but the lovely Sarah came and helped. I couldn?t find my email with discounts on but this lady found it on the system and hey presto saved me £41. Thankyou Sarah you are a credit to Matalan x

Nice selection of clothing and homeware. I found that the cheaper trousers were skimped so whilst they fitted nicely in the waist, the legs were quite tight. Another, more expensive pair of the same size, fitted perfectly.Staff were polite and helpful.They might consider leaving a little more room between rails to enable better access for wheelchair users.

Why are all the tills self service? Why are there items on the shop floor that can?t be purchased as the bar code is not viable? Where is the customer service?
