Having banked here for years I find it incredibly frustrating how you can no longer go to the counter to pay money and cheques in with a PERSON. If you do dare ask them to pay your money in at the counter then you are met with 'do you know how to use the automated paying in machine' always.... never met with 'of course I'll pay that in for you with pleasure'. None of that here. Of course I know how to use the machine.
But sometimes people just want some help in their day or a bit of conversation can be nice, and for older people or Mums who don't get out much, they want some contact and conversation. You won't get that in this bank.... well yearly when they ring you wanting you to go in so they can upgrade your account or try to sell you something. There are not many banks in Horncastle, Lloyds have a couple of good accounts like the Club LLOYDS so it is why we stay.
I will add that when I pay money in at Lincoln and other branches, I'm never met with the disapproving look and asked 'can you use the paying in machine'. It is quicker sometimes of course to use the paying in machine, I'm tech savvy like a lot of people these days. It's the rudeness and indiffernce that has annoyed me one too many times hence this review!
