The woman on the till is extremely rude. I realise she has to tell people to put their tray in a different place many times a day but it is the manner in which she speaks to people is hostile. She works in hospitality. If she doesn't like talking to people she should find another job

A Friday lunchtime (fish & chip special day) was perhaps not the ideal time to visit but there always seem to be tables available despite being pretty busy. Staff work extremely hard to do the food service and keeping tables cleared. Opted for a coffee, sausage roll (very tasty) and cakes instead of a cooked meal, although we arrived at midday as hot meals were being served.

My wife and I called in for Fish & Chips on 1st September '23 and for £9+ she got SIX chips - I kid you not! I didn't count mine but there weren't many more. The fish was all batter. At 77years of age myself, we have been to lots of lousy fish & chip shops in our lives, but most would be hard pressed to match this place for lousy fish & chips.

a nice place to sit and rest while visiting the antique centres, the food and drinks are good but a bit pricey.if you?re a vegetarian i don?t think they cook the vegetarian food separately from the meat as i had a bit of tuna on my sandwich, but they apologised and remade my food :)

Popped in for a snack whilst visiting the antiques centre. Plenty of seating inside and out. Good selection of snacks on offer. Coronation chicken sandwich was spot on. Good selection of cakes on offer. Service with a smile and very quick. Good value for money.

Have been using this cafe for many years but today is the last time, the prices literally rise weekly, £1.75 for a can of pop ! So called home made cakes are an extortionate price and of poor quality. The bacon buns used to be worth the visit alone but as with everything rip off Britain they have shrunk in size and quality and doubled in price.Simply not worth the prices they charge.

Been here many times our stop off place on way to the seaside with disabled people.Sadly a disappointing experience. We couldn't eat our food for the flies and we were sat inside.Gave up fighting them off and removed our own food back to the tills uneaten.32 pounds down the drain!! We got a oh sorry for that.Wont visit again in hot weather maybe some thing to prevent flys getting in at the door may help.

Having visited Hemswell Antiques for a browse of the Antiques which I have done a few times, I went in for a coffee and some cake (a bit of a treat) into the coffee shop in building one. I must say there was plenty to choose from I have a bit of a sweet tooth so I could of eaten more. The service was great from the staff and I was greeted with a smile and I had no trouble getting a table. It nice to see that the coffee shop decor was done by one of the dealers and items are available to buy. However I have been looking on trip advisor to see if someone was going to complain as I overheard another customer being very rude to what I heard was the coffee shop manager. I believe it was regarding gluten free. The manager was very polite and was trying to speak to the lady but I don't think anything she said she would of been happy with and personally I thought the lady was down right rude Sandra R . I am very happy with the service and would definitely return. Keep making those gorgeous cakes.

I had a poor experience when I challenged the manager here about the "gluten free" food they provided me. I reacted badly after my meal there. I tried to bring it to the attention of the manager to prevent anyone else having the same issues. She was only interested in denying there was a problem, not in tracking down the source or offering an apology

Visited this venue twice recently with friends after spending many hours browsing around the Antiques Centres. Looking forward to refreshments we were not disappointed ?wide fresh variety of choice both savoury & sweet courses & yummy cakes to choose from. Very reasonably priced too! We all enjoyed the lovely, laid-back atmosphere & appreciated the friendly, helpful staff who go out of their way to help. Highly recommend this as a ?pit-stop? between browsing the Antiques & Garden Centre. We will return soon?thank you everyone concerned!

The best Aternoon Tea I?ve ever had and the cost was such great value. A visit is a must! When you book in advance the staff will ask what you would like. It is catered to your requirements and everything is homemade and not just pulled out of a freezer.

My husband took me here for a treat and it was lovely! I had avocado on sourdough toast with poached eggs and they kindly let me have mushrooms too, hubby on the veggie breakfast. Great service, friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, both inside and out - and the lovely antiques shop at the rear for a browse after eating. 10/10!
