Apparently, even tho we clicked on Wragby Rd branch, the website directs your call straight to Newark Rd. Wilko need to address this issue, as I was told lots of people have this problem. “I'm the one to always look around to see what's out there when looking for MOT. After being practically ripped off at a place I won't mention, I became a halfords motoring club member for a low, affordable price, I got an MOT for free. I was expecting to buy 1 maybe 2 more tyres for my car, as I was told by another business I would need them, so I ordered a tyre to be fitted whilst doing my MOT at halfords. I was phoned not even 45 minutes after dropping the car off that the car passed its MOT with no advisories, and the new tyre they could put on if I wanted, but it wasn't a fail and I had a little more wear in it.For that reason alone I give a 5* review. One thing I love especially when it comes to cars which can become expensive when fixing is honesty, especially with the current crisis. I will continue now to use halfords after receiving outstanding service to do 6 monthly checks and 6 monthly services.There are a lot of greedy dealerships, garages out there that will do anything to get extra money or commission, but this was nothing more than excellent and I would highly recommend. Unfortunately, their diagnostic mathine couldn't access our cars computer. They were very apologetic and recommended another garage that had software related to our car.Although Dave Clark didn't do any work on our car. I found them very professional in their approach.”

“Myself and my two sons have used the services of PG Mitchell Motors for well over a decade. All the servicing requirements for our three privately owned vehicles have been undertaken by this company to our complete satisfaction over this period.The last job, completed on 24th August 2023 was replacement of a clutch and dual mass flywheel, as well as a complete exhaust system on a Vauxhall Astra diesel estate. (Invoice I011482)I have never had cause to complain about the technical aspects of the work, nor the quoted or actual cost of the work undertaken at any time during this period.It saddens me to see that a traditional motor engineering company such as PG Mitchell Motor Engineers now have to operate in a market place where servicing and repair costs for work carried out are treated as a "grudge purchase" by certain customers. These small businesses are also vulnerable to this form of social media bullying, as evidenced by recent bad reviews.For my part, I will continue to put all my car servicing and repair business through PG Mitchell for the foreseeable future.My best wishes to Pete Mitchell and Paul Wilkinson and my sympathies go to them in dealing with the very small minority of this type of bullying and ignorant customer for whom they have undertaken work.Ron BaileyServices: Transmission”

“Can’t understand why this place has bad reviews!Our Renault Captur went in under an insurance approved repair, and yes, they had the vehicle for a couple of months but that was because the parts needed for the vehicle were coming from overseas and Brexit doesn’t help matters. The service was great, the guys there are really polite and well mannered and thank you for everything. Hands down recommend them.”
