“If you have dry eye then please consider undergoing testing and treatment from Dr Smith. I travel all the way from Scotland to see him (about a 5hr drive each way). Dr Smith is one of the few dry eye specialists in the UK who undertakes Meibomian Gland Probing. He is extremely knowledgeable about dry eye and it’s clear he spends time keeping up to date with the newest advancements in the treatment of the disease. My symptoms have improved massively since undergoing gland probing through his clinic.Unlike some other Drs I’ve seen through the NHS, I found Dr Smith to be very understanding and empathetic to the condition as he knows how devastating dry eye can be to people’s quality of life.Additionally, the staff in the clinic are very helpful and polite anytime I have dealt with them. I’ve had to cancel last minute due to poor road conditions and they could not have been more accommodating.Fantastic experience.”

“The service is good. Taking a while to get used to new specs. After having had cataract op one one eye now have two different lens so reading has become a bit hard as words get jumbled up. This was explained to me though. When I have the other eye done, I'm sure things will get back to normal. Just thought I'd let you know.”

“First time going to this store as new to the area and this seems to be my nearest, went in , staff very busy but unbelievably friendly and helpful, couldn’t be more helpful, had to have eye examination as due soon, needed to get my glasses fixed but because I’m so close to a review they managed to get me in same day for an appointment, also couldn’t fix my glasses as unrepairable, ordered 2 new pairs and now just waiting to go back to collect them! I am also a wheelchair user and the store was accessible, the optician was lovely, very knowledgeable and helpful. Would recommend vision express for glasses anytime”

“My last visit to Boots had been moved to January this year from my normal visit in November so technically I was not due for an appointment - however I needed to replace my spare pair of glasses which I had lost in my garden. Boots allowed me to attend my appointment, the examination was thorough and the information given to me was very clear. I had full confidence in the specialist and was shown the photos of the back of my eyes and informed of the changes and what to expect. The ordering of the replacement glasses was done efficiently. All in all a good visit to Boots in Lincoln.”
