We had the best time at the Eastlands Barn for a family getaway. The tastefully decorated barn was very spacious, the bedrooms were big and there was lots of space to socialise in dining room and living room area. The kitchen was also very well stocked. The surroundings were beautiful and the hot tub had a great view.Bob was a very kind host and there was even homemade lemon drizzle cake when we arrived.Thank you for a fantastic stay and we hope to be back in the future!

Perfect for our family of 10 for a special celebration. Very spacious, clean comfortable and well equipped. Plenty of outside space to relax and entertain. Friendly and informative hosts

Lovely place

Cottage was stunning. Great if you want to stay in the whole time and cook. Nothing is walking distance, there are no Taxi services, no Uber, no takeaway delivery service from the local takeaways. If we knew this beforehand we could of planned better, we had messaged the owners prior to ask for restaurant and takeaway suggestions and was told don't know about takeaways. Obviously because they know they don't deliver. The hot tub was lovely and big and had great views. Just make sure you remember to turn the LED outside strip light of when you have finished as you get an earful from the owner calling you disrespectful. A simple error one night (not even anything major) and being told off like a child and saying we need to be more respectful due to leaving one light on is out of order. Lovely cottage but was spoilt by these things mentioned above. Would not return.

The most magical setting for a getaway, even in the rain!! Gorgeous kitchen, amazing showers and beds you don?t want to get out of. The barn was immaculately clean, had all the amenities and the hosts were so hospitable we didn?t want to leave. Gorgeous walks across the fields. A truly idyllic setting. The lemon cake on arrival was the cherry on top!!

Just returned from one week?s stay at Eastlands Barn and we were all very sad to leave. The Barn is truly gorgeous and has everything you could possibly need. The owners Bob and Sally are a lovely, friendly couple and did all they could to make our stay as nice and as comfortable as possible. The hot tub was always clean and the LED lighting was great, not forgetting the pool table. Bob and Sally were very kind and hospitable throughout our stay. They provided us with freshly laid eggs and Sally?s lemon drizzle cake is amazing! They were also great with the kids, letting them pet the animals, which are exceptionally friendly, especially the sheep. They run to you like dogs! There are beautiful local walks through the surrounding fields and around Market Rasen. We had some gorgeous food at the Adam and Eve pub in Wragby. We had quality beach/fun time at Sutton-on-Sea and Mablethorpe. Lincoln Town and Cathedral are magnificent and well worth a visit. We simply can?t fault Eastlands Barn for a luxurious rural family holiday and will definitely be going back at some point.

Our party consisted of 3 generations including 6 adults and 3 children, and we had one of the best holidays ever. The cottage had everything we needed, and at a very high standard. The owners Bob and Sally were so lovely and couldn't have been more helpful, and provided us with eggs from their chickens. Our children were so pleased to see the horses and the two long haired sheep. There are some interesting villages to visit, we went to Louth and Horncastle, and there are some nice beaches about 30 minutes drive - we went to Sutton on Sea.We noticed a few bad reviews on Google, (I suspect written by the same person). How can people be so mean spirited. Please ignore them.

Visited Eastlands Barn in place of our usual family holiday abroad (thanks to Covid-19).....and I mean THANKS to Covid-19. What a find!! Beautiful setting, very high standard finish and lovely welcoming hosts, Bob and Sally. I?ll be honest, one or two reviews on google had me slightly worried, but please don?t let these put you off - will definitely return!!!

Do not book!Unclean, invasive owners who use racial slurs and encourage drink driving, WiFi turned off throughout the stay. Oh and for good measure you won?t get your deposit back. Not remotely worth the money, look elsewhere.

Do not book here but if you do, DO NOT transfer money into these people?s account!!! We?re still waiting for our deposit back and I try regularly to contact the owners but get no reply. The barn is quite a way from anything which wasn?t a problem but we asked about taxis in case we wanted to explore the area and maybe have a drink, the owner advised us to drink and drive, apparently he does it all the time, said theirs no police about so there is nothing to worry about!!!!The barn is ok but not worth the money and the owners pop in unannounced and talk AT you while you trying to eat your breakfast!!There is no lighting around the hot tub so if you use it at night you can?t see when your getting in and out.Pool table had bits missing and was wonky so couldn?t use it.WiFi went off for the whole of one of the nights.Beds rock hard and one of the toilets was broke. We all left after 2 nights when we had paid for 3.Don?t waste your Money!!!!!

We came here for our dear friends 40th birthdayWe was disappointed beyond beliefI found Bob very rude and made me feel very uncomfortable he made racial slurs and he even advised us to drink drive! On arrival I was very taken back by Bob and Sally and wasnt quite sure what to make of it all. He was very aggressive towards the previous guests and how they left the place and had me on pins for the rest of my stay. The place its self is nice lovely scenery but it certainly didnt have the wow factor it was just nice.We had booked for 3 days but decided to leave on day 2 there was a issue with the wifi and as we all had no signal and young children at home with grand parents we decided to leave a day early. When we got home we contacted Bob about our £200 deposit we had leftBob told us he was not happy over a few issuesDishes left in dishwasherA full bin2 cups left in the sinkMake up on bathrobes providedAnd the ironing board cover had fell offWe was all shocked and couldn't believe it.Needless to say we wont be returningAnd would not advice any one to stay here

Well, what can I say about Eastlands Barn?
Nothing good that?s for sure! Please, do not book to stay here - you?ll be conned out of money and the owner will bad mouth you (he did this to us about the party that stayed before us)
Aswell as that, some things to bear in mind:
You?ll have no WiFi - there is no service here so without WiFi you have no way of being able to contact anybody!
Feel uncomfortable when the owner talks derogatorily about race
Lighting by the hot tub doesn?t work making it a slipping hazard
Robes are supplied, but don?t even think about using them - they must be for show?
But if you do book after considering this, please do not give the owner a security deposit, he will keep this! He kept ours as we left 2 cups and a glass in the sink, the ironing board cover had fallen on the floor and the robes were used.
Please - save yourself the hassle and find somewhere else!
