“I needed soluble prescription medication urgently for a cancer patient who was unable to swallow. All other chemists were not interested of the urgency and were saying it will take us a few days.The chemist here said let me check what we have, I know we do not have all today, but can get the remainder tomorrow. Excellent customer service, I felt like they really tried to help and fulfilled most of the prescription requirements on the day and ordered the missing items for next day. I would highly recommend and thank you to the helpful chemist, your dedication was very much appreciated.”

“I went into the scunthorpe branch about 2pm today to get my eyebrows waxed and the lady that was on the beauty/studio section was so lovely and i think she deserves to be recognised for it. she was very chatting and kind, i went in for an eyebrow wax and had a reaction to the wax and wouldn’t do my other eyebrow as she was not wanting to put me in pain however she threaded the other eyebrow. She then proceeded to constantly check i was okay and took great care of me. I didn’t catch her name unfortunately but wanted her to get some recognition for how lovely and helpful she was. The other staff were also lovely the manager came up to check i was okay and if they could do anything. Thank you to all the staff at scunthorpe x”

“I came here for some aftershave for Christmas as they had a particular gift set I wanted for Christmas, it wasn't on the shelf and the very busy lady went in the back and actually found me one that had came on delivery, I was really impressed, it was bigger than the one online but they had 20% of selected fragrances so I managed to get double the ml for nearly the same price, very happy”

“Excellent staff, very very busy, not enough staff for the amount of customers, but absolutely not the fault of the overwhelmed staff. I would just ask that customers could take a minute to be kind. I witnessed a member of staff reduced to tears by a customer (a rather intimidating lady to say the least) because of her own lack of planning.Just be kind people, it costs nothingAnd for sedgemll as a company please look after your staff and get them. “The staff are very polite and helpful. I had to order my prescription (controlled drugs) so can’t miss a dose, while I was sick and couldn’t leave the house. After speaking to the Drs they sent it straight through to Ashby. A little while after I rang the pharmacy and explained my situation to the woman on my phone and asked if there was any way they could deliver my meds to me. While it was not possible to get it delivered that day due to short notice they arranged it for the next day much to my relief. I was Still very sick the next day, I was sleeping almost constantly and was awoken by a call from the delivery driver asking if I was in as I didn’t answer the door, I apologised and told him I’ll be at my door shortly. The delivery man could have walked away as he had other deliveries to make and was busy but he decided to call instead and make sure my meds were delivered. They went above and beyond and I really appreciated it.Thank you.”

“The reception staff are extremely friendly, helpful and professional and the medical staff likewise. Very understanding and thorough. The only reason I haven't given them 5 stars is it is difficult to get an appointment and there is often a long wait on the phone to speak to someone but I appreciate this is an NHS-wide problem.The pharmacy however, you are best to take a sleeping bag as it can take forever to get your prescription dispensed and the 24hour collection point is unreliable! In their defence, they are rarely out of stock of anything!”

“A very large store with friendly staff and as well as selling everything from bread all the way to beer and wine also has the Co-op chemist attached too the store.”

“Accessible for the disabled as all the doors are automatic and wide enough for wheelchairs. The car park is large and there are disabled parking spaces.It is usually busy and there is sometimes a queue outside, however there is a waiting area with seats inside and a bench seat outside.There is a prescription box on one side of the counter and also in the porch of the Surgery.A second access door is straight off the Surgery waiting area.”

“Extremely bad,and the Woman that I have nick names The Furore thinks she's a Doctor,even though she's not a pharmacist. Twice I reported the store to the Main branch,as the Furore wouldn't give me my repeat prescription. So I'm no longer welcome in there which is a good thing. As they Never have the meds in,and speak to people like they're a P O S.. Avoid this pharmacy like the plague.”
