Been twice to this shop in the last two days. Not the largest of choice. As a supermarket selling food, it could do with a spruss up, it looks and feels dirty. Really not impressed with no till service. One poor person dashing about with the self service. You can see people struggling with this, mentally and physically. As a newbie, Click and collect not quick or clear. You have to apparently sit in the carpark in a designated spot and follow instructions from a wall with your phone, (don't forget it?).

There must be a management problem at this store. Always queuing, only two lines open even if many people are waiting in line. There are two other members of staff chatting instead of helping to reduce the queue. I don?t particularly appreciate coming to this store. I do prefer the different Lidl in Spalding where as soon there is a cumulation of the people waiting, store manager opens more tilts.

Great food. Great price. Great staff. Been shopping at Aldi for years. Since the Spalding store opened. That is how good they are.

I shop at Aldi on St Thomas road on a weekly basis but after today I won?t be letting them have my money again! I cued up at an available checkout, the number was green. Approx 1 min after joining the cue the young girl closes her till. This isn?t a problem, but what happened next was. Even though I was in cue when the till was opened, the young girl tells me to go to the next available till, I argued I was in the cue when the till was open, which she acknowledged, but I still had to go to another available checkout. Obviously this young girl needs more training in her customer service skills.
