Got abuse from the male owner as soon as i walked in. I was not wearing a face mask as I am medically exempt. I walked into the shop and got abuse from the outset. I explained I was exempt. His response was everyone says that, then received angry abuse, at this point I walked out of the store without buying anything I was also with my 3 year old grandson. This was embarrassing and degrading. He does not know people's medical conditions and whether they are exempt or not. I have been a regular shopper in this store for years. But I will never shop in this store again. I would advise anyone with medical needs to avoid also. It is not our fault that we do not have proof of our exemption. They obviously dont value the customers that enter their store. As a previously shielding person the thought of going into stores is nerve racking anyway without being treated like a criminal.

After coming in this shop for years and spending alot of money I walked away today fuming.Two days ago (thurs) the staff member A served me wif her usual miserable face ( she only smiles to the opposite sex) and i tried to withdraw money from post office she tried 3 times and on the first time I thought it worked to be told it didnt the lines down. I went home and checked my online banking and it showed that the transaction was successful so I took pho0to of the screen and went back to shop.As I explained to A she pulled a face and told me shes worked there for 10 years and this has never happend before ( which I knew was a lie because she started at this shop when hoole rd closed but I let it go) then she was rolling her eyes I really felt so angry I asked her would the till be over then by the amount she didnt pay me and s replied "actually the till under it has been all week" Then I asked what action t should I take now then to resolve this and she said " I dont know and looked at me like I was stupid" I was shocked the other girl stepped in as she could obviously see A's lack of customer services skills and advised me to see the boss the following day. I did this the next morning and she thought I may of taken it out cash machine outside .I told her I had not took anymoney out cashmashine outside on that occasion. I honestly felt like she thought I was trying to con them ! The boss proceeded to say if I could prove that the withdrawal(I say withdrawal because it shows as withdrawal as money is gone but she never handed any amount of) was made inside and not outside then she would remburse my money. I went straight to bank out of principle mostly . I got a statement showing the withdrawal in store at post office counter and went back she had gone home for the day, I was told she would be in tomorrow. It's now Saturday I went to the shop again and showed the owner the statement with exactly what she asked for and she refused to give me my money back . She actually I said I cant afford to just give money away, I thought they were a very bad choice of words as obviously neither can I and it my money what's missing. its do frustrating she wants me to go back the bank which I will do but its definitely not the banks error. Am annoyed that the owner didnt honour her word the staff member who served me is incompetent and insulted me spoke down to me and was unhelpful and unpleasant. The only funny thing when I watch the CCTV cameras back this member if staff spends more time on her mobile phone than working. I will get my money in end I know that for now i will not going to that shop. Its interesting that a few people I have spoke to about this have told me stories of short change and 5 pound being put on gas card instead of 10 . Another one of missing shopping. If anyone has any advice on this let me know thanks

Shop here every single day for different items we spend on average £15 - £70. £70 when we do the lottery. The owner needs to learn to speak to young children better and not make there mum embarrassed in front of a full shop all he done was ask for a bag I even offered to buy one I as understand the law has changed and you now have to pay for the privilege. I ended up carrying most of my shopping as the bag was tiny he provided. I ended up going into another shop and asked them if I could buy a bag, but that nice shop MARIOS gave me one for free. Thank you MARIOS for showing that there are nice people still about. I will not be returning to the premier shop itâ??s just a shame they are using such a great name to trade under.

Local shop great bargains low prices friendly staff post office cash point payzone offlicence frozen and chilled food some house hold items bleach air freshner toilet roll etc everything you could want on those small trips to the shop the best on the estate gives co-op a run for their money anyday
