“My wife and myself visited here for the first time on Monday and enjoyed so much that we went back for breakfast again today. The breakfast is great value, well cooked and the staff are friendly. We will definitely be regulars from now on.”

“Attended 15th November to purchase a gift card for a birthday gift for my son's girlfriend. There was only one member of staff working the counter as the other lady was on lunch.There where two ladies already being served when I entered the shop, after spraying in excess of 10 different cards for the two ladies to decide what to purchase and then going through the different prices and sizes available for the 5 which they had narrowed it down to, some uming and arming about what to purchase the decision was finally made to purchase a completely different product completely, hats off to the young staff member who stayed very polite all the way through 28 minutes with these ladies, it was my turn to be served, she was very efficient and polite letting me know that the amount I was putting on the gift card was indeed enough to ensure it would cover a good amout of the perfumes in a good size.Extremely happy with her service. Eventhough she knew I only wanted a gift certificate she was fully committed to the clients she was already serving and didn't rush them into their purchase. Yes it would have been brilliant if she quickly served me with the gift card but her professionalism could not be called into account.”

“A good choice, although some sizes don't seem to be catered for on a lot of clothing items, but overall a decent experience. Can get very very busy at checkout but remains with just a couple of the many checkouts open which is frustrating but the ones open do get through the queues quite quickly.”

“Always pick up an unusual item here and today my friend bought two hairy balls on a chardonnair for her garden ...I wanted new trainers but couldn't get my size ...they had a pair of Polo pumps but were a size 14 and must have been made in the dry Dock at nearby Cammel Laird !!!”

“This is also where their pharmacy is. The Superdrug pharmacy on Google map is wrong???. Staff was friendly. I did walk in private flu jab with Oonagh. She was helpful!! Cheapest private flu jab on market this season (less than 9 pounds with their free membership).”

“ I give to the Salvation Army as years ago I too encountered rudeness and a sofa was refused as it was the wrong colour! The staff in Birkenhead are lovely and if something cannot be sold they can make money from recycling. They do a great job. ”

“I always find Next a bit hit and miss. I rarely end up getting anything, but if I do I get good wear out of it. This store is not huge, over 2 floors, with a relatively small selection of menswear. Having said that, the staff are great if you need to order something not in the store. I have always found them helpful.”

“Had bulb and wiper blade replaced quickly and efficiently saving me time. Also had a vehicle check for free with advice on any issues. Advised of one tyre getting near limit which I was aware off. All really helpful as mot due shortly and gave very competitive price on new tyre. All done with humour and in friendly manner”

“Love this shop I also use the online service which is fab. Clothing range is extensive with lots of choice and sizes. The prices are so cheap so it's easy to buy lots of signature items on a budget. Staff are lovely and efficient xxx”

“Bought a new iPad off them 13 months ago (out of warranty) it sadly died on me, took it to the apple store who said they couldn’t do anything and it would cost for me to replace it, took it back to Argos who sent it to be looked at by a repair shop, no success so they replaced it with a brand new one and refunded me the difference! Friendly and patient staff, will be prioritising buying from them again.”

“Very friendly and customer welcoming atmosphere... particularly by Claire, aided by Vicky. With Claire's knowledge ( calling to check with management if she is not sure) of almost all, if not everything on shelves and whatever not on, coupled with her marketing skills, you will buy all the shop if you can. They go further to bring in what you want. My appreciation.. thanks the fragrance shop Birkenhead.”

“Massive thank you to Jess at this store! I ordered garden furniture which I thought came flat packed and would fit in the car. Jess helped me carry everything out to the car, but it didn’t fit. She then sorted a refund, and a reorder with home delivery. The product was reordered at the same discounted price for me despite the product no longer being reduced. It was a bit of a headache to sort out, but Jess made it seem no problem at all with lovely customer service. Thank you to the manager who also assisted to get the last few things sorted :) much appreciated!”

“Everything they seem to sell is just gym wear now . We're the use to sell a good selection of clothes I've been in a few stores an nothing of interest anymore all the same clothes with different brands on them . Bit of a shame really . Tend to shop elsewhere now”

“It's an asda, what do you expect. Prices are alright at best but this one is pretty great because its right in a highly accessible area and has the stuff you need when you've left stuff really late.”

“It's a big Asda. Not much more to say other than it was very busy, and they didn't have any self scanning guns charged, which was annoying as it meant I had to que at the checkout.”

“Jam packed full of trainers, walking shoes, football boots, football kits, tops, shorts, gym wear in fact as the name suggests SPORTS of all kinds. Very reasonably priced and online even more at good prices. The only thing I can find wrong with the store is there returns policy, if you dont exchange you will recieve a credit note that will last for 2 years not a monetry refund.”

“Staff member went above and beyond to find a particular bottle of wine I needed for a present. He searched the warehouse and found one box which he brought back to me whilst I was enjoying a chat with his colleague who was busy filling the shelves. So friendly, pleasant and efficient. And the wine was much appreciated.”
