Visited my local currys store today and can not say I'll be going back. Firstly, trying to find an exployee was a difficult expierince. Eventually we found someone who was "putting stickers on" in fairness he did agree to try and help. When doing this we had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Mary. After checking online we had all the information required to request a price match. Initially she refused it due to colour. However, online said it was to related to model numbers. Mary requested we found a store with them in a paticular colour in stock, pictures from the internet did not suffice. Mary suggested we found a store with the correct colour in stock, so we did. We rang up and found a store who confirmed availability. Mary, who it felt like she didn't want to sell to us rang the store to confirm what we had told her. Undeterred to refuse a sale, she then drempt up a new policy of 45p a mile delivery charge based on a return trip that we would need to complete to go to a store to collect the item. After asking how this was going to be itemised in my receipt and to be pointed to the policy which outlines this practice as we couldn't find this on your website. Mary then decided we couldn't have a price match because the store we wanted a price match to didn't regularly sell the item, she then continued to go on about third party sellers. She knew this was not the case as we were comparing to a well known British business which has over 300 stores nationwide. I would say I've never seen a person in sales try so hard to avoid making a large sale. We went to another Local branch who honored the price match as all criteria was met as I provided all the evidence necessary as per the terms and conditions. This was a pleasant exchange, quick no quibble could not fault them. Will not be going back to the other store as I would rather travel further to a store with a good experience.

Big shout out to Ethan, a very helpful approachable young man. He is a great asset to Currys.The customer service from other staff i encountered there leaves a lot to be desired.

Nice for all your tech they have a lot of choice. The staff are very friendly and try hard to help customers. So from a customer service point of view they are very good. The only criticisms would be that the staff should be trained in more detail especially on the computers tablets and laptops as most people who are looking for these would need a little advice on which is best suited for their needs. Also, there are items on display that are unavailable or out of stock when u decide u want to purchase something, which doesn't help, if its not available, it shouldn't be displayed. These issues should be resolved by people higher up. We have brought washing machines, ovens, dishwashers etc from there before and staff were very knowledgeable and didn't have the same issues. Looks like it's just the ground floor that's having issues.

Usual good selection at competitive prices so always a winner with me. One big letdown that has really infuriated me over the years is that you can't call your local store to speak to anyone, never mind the manager. Currys. Get it sorted please.

Went to pick up a ordered and payed for Tablet swhich I was expecting to be there, as it said online it would be there on Monday.The the guy at collections was not intested in any form of assisting and in fact seemed to revel in the fact the parcel wasn't there. Blaming me for not getting a home delivery. On would think it's easier to pick up at the store as they had 3days to get the item delivered there. If a person is working waiting in for 8hours isn't a option on wishes for.The guy wasn't interested in checking when the tablet would be delivered , such a shoddy and unprofessional approach to a member of the public and customer.Anyone thinking of using the Brombough store needs to think again, as you will be treated with distain and dismissed as wasting their time

We went for fridge and freezer. Unfortunately my husband is disabled so found walking aroubd upstairs quite a chore, so I found an assistant who was vey helpful. The service was fine but we ended up buying from Amazon instead because of the specifics of what we needed.

Several recent purchases and every time the staff were polite and patient and helpful. Recently took a purchase back for an exchange. Absolutely no problem. Even took it to my car.

Fantastic service from the staff at The Croft Currys. We've recently moved up from near London and needed practically everything. We feel we've had excellent advice for all our appliances, some of which weren't straightforward. For example the previous owners of the house cut out their fitted microwave - we didn't think we'd be able to find a solution without replacing the whole oven stack but a chap here helped us find a perfect fit which matches the oven - and it was super cheap! We had discounts as we bought a fridge freezer together. We wanted a fridge freezer that produced ice without plumbing it in - they recommended a perfect one and we're all delighted! Also bought a carpet cleaner which I struggled to get to work - I took it in and they made it work right there on the shop floor. The latest is we got a dishwasher to fit in the space of an under-counter fridge which was a narrow depth - we found a perfect brilliant product in this store - price matched so we got the best price. Just really pleased with this team. Thank you!! (I think we've got all we need for now - but we'll be back!!)

Good choice and reasonable prices for today. Staff are very helpful too. As usual, I took out the insurance as it paid dividends for me a while back on a 14year old printer!My only complaint , not with the staff, but please issue your staff with terminals that actually connect to your lousy WiFi connection. Caused me umpteen problems until the young girl went to a sale point in the shop and our sale went through. I'm sure it would be better for a sale to go through at a proper till and not a mobile phone/ipad unit. Use the hand terminal to check stock or information.

My wife and I purchased a fridge and a freezer from the Bromborough branch on Saturday 8th July 2023. We paid for delivery on Tuesday 11th July 2023. I was advised by text on the Monday the delivery would be made the following day between 13:15 and 17:15. 17:15 came and went , I got a call from Currys at 18:40 saying that they would not be delivering as the driver had run out of time! The man on the phone said they would reschedule a delivery for Thursday between 13:15 and 17:15. I cannot use the old fridge and freezer as they have been unplugged to defrost so the delivery driver can take them away for disposal, which I have also paid for! We now have no fridge or freezer until Thursday, if they deliver.I went to the branch to complain and spoke to Mary the duty manager, explained the situation but she was as helpful and useful as a chocolate fireguard.Needless to say we won't be purchasing ever again from Curry's and will be recommending to our friends and families to likewise!Buy from Curries at your own peril!We shall also be making a complaint to Wirral Trading standards!

Went to bromborough Croft store today to look at laptops, Not something I was looking forward too as I'm not great with computers and you sometimes can feel your getting the hard sell, However today our experience was great mainly thanks to a lovely young lady called lily she was so helpful and spent plenty of time with us talking us through what would suit our needs,She was very friendly and knowledgeable and a credit to the store, Thanks lily

i went in to buy an apple watch yesterday and the service i received from Aimee was amazing!! she was very helpful and considerate when helping me purchase it. i honestly couldn't fault her, if only everyone was like her!!

At best, guy who served me was a nice guy. Systems went down for phone upgrade, and never got done. Numerous people pushed in before this. When advised to the 'supervisor' he advised sorry and walked away to prevent any interaction with customers

Took a broken TV back here to find out if it could be fixed. Insurance covered, it was dealt with very quickly, 7 days I got an e-mail with a description of what was wrong with the TV and given a voucher for in store purchases. '65' please and took it home same day excellent staff and after service, highly recommended.

Though I've had nothing but horrible experiences in this store in the past, there was a member of staff called Ethan (a young lad) who went above and beyond to provide us with everything we needed. Helped us find the computer and laptop we wanted and seemed to have greater knowledge than other older employees in the store (including the actual manager). If it wasn't for Ethan, we would never shop there again. Thanks again mate.
