“Ordered a wardrobe and chest of drawers for my daughters bedroom. We took measurements and seen that we were an inch out ? we asked if it was possible to shave the small overhang on the top of the chest of drawers in order for it to fit on the same wall as the wardrobes - Glenn was happy to do this for us with no issues. The wardrobes and chest of drawers arrived today and fitted perfectly. The guys put the furniture together quickly and were pleasant and polite - also they took away all packaging saving me a trip to the tip. Myself and my daughter are delighted with our new bedroom furniture - would highly recommend.”

“Went in today to have a look at the tempur mattress and decided to buy one.Lindsey helped us decide on our perfect one, she was happy to answer any and all questions we had. She offered us drinks and to use the sleep match machine.We decided on the tempur cloud mattress and Lindsey was kind enough to give us pillows, a duvet and a protector for free.We were unsure on which delivery slot would be best for us as this mattress is for our new home and Lindsey helped to decide on a date and assured us we can change the address if needed.We are both really glad we went in for a look today as we have left with our dream mattress!”

“Went a few days ago for a mattress and a suite. Dont go anywhere else like DFS, SCS etc before you've been here. It's massive, there's no pressure selling, you're made to feel comfortable. Sooooo helpful. Just give your requirements and they go head over heels to assist. We also got next day delivery as we went on a Sunday and they deliver on mondays and thursdays. Price? Extremely reasonable obviously you can spend as much as you require. I cannot recommend more highly.Dave Glass and Janet. Xx”

“Will I use Topps Tiles again, if we need more tiles, absolutely, a really excellent service, plus a very wide choice.Really helpful staff, the know their tiles. They did not have enough of the tile we wanted, plus they were being discontinued.The guys and girl contacted other branches as sourced all the tiles we need, superb service, thanks ?”

“ I give to the Salvation Army as years ago I too encountered rudeness and a sofa was refused as it was the wrong colour! The staff in Birkenhead are lovely and if something cannot be sold they can make money from recycling. They do a great job. ”

“Good price’s but you do have to check as some of the things say 1 price and when you check your receipt it’s another I bought light bulbs at £2.49 and when I got home and looked they were £2.99.”

“Lots of items available, I went there to get things for my bedroom, including pillows, blankets, mattress and pillow covers, etc. Also sell material, lights, towels, basically everything needed to have a nice house. There’s also a nice little coffee shop up on the top floor, and it’s wheelchair accessible using the lift.”

“Had bulb and wiper blade replaced quickly and efficiently saving me time. Also had a vehicle check for free with advice on any issues. Advised of one tyre getting near limit which I was aware off. All really helpful as mot due shortly and gave very competitive price on new tyre. All done with humour and in friendly manner”

“Bought a new iPad off them 13 months ago (out of warranty) it sadly died on me, took it to the apple store who said they couldn’t do anything and it would cost for me to replace it, took it back to Argos who sent it to be looked at by a repair shop, no success so they replaced it with a brand new one and refunded me the difference! “Huge home based products are housed at Home Base, Upton. Staff is very polite and helpful. My experience was wonderful. I went to buy a electronic screwdriver. I asked the reception staff to assist in obtaining the product as I have already checked the product availability online. Before I reached the product section staff was already there to help. It's been a long road finding two sofas for our home with a failed delivery due to our stairs and then an issue with mechanics on our lazy boy (which was replaced with no issue). “Great shop for all your household items plus the bonus of having some Iceland food products there. Probably the best shop for it's Halloween and Christmas displays (tends to take up the whole of upstairs). Only downside is there generally tends to be 1 person on the till which for the size of the store is ridiculous plus quite alot of the time whilst queuing managers/assistant managers or general staff huddled together by the customer services chatting.”

“Massive thank you to Jess at this store! I ordered garden furniture which I thought came flat packed and would fit in the car. Jess helped me carry everything out to the car, but it didn’t fit. She then sorted a refund, and a reorder with home delivery. The product was reordered at the same discounted price for me despite the product no longer being reduced. It was a bit of a headache to sort out, but Jess made it seem no problem at all with lovely customer service. Thank you to the manager who also assisted to get the last few things sorted :) much appreciated!”
