Originally used apex around a year ago for an MOT. Failed due to a couple of reasons namely four tyres needed replacing which was fair. The work was done, I paid the fee and thought nothing of it. A couple of weeks later my ?check engine tyre pressure sensor? light came on the dashboard so I took it back to apex to fix and was told by the gentleman with a top knot that ?as the light is orange and not red I don?t need to worry about it?. I?m no car expert so I took his advice rather than pay to have it repaired. Soon enough it was time for another MOT. It failed again on the front tyres along with the offside suspension arm. Strange? I asked if the pressure sensor could be replaced as part of the work. ?No? was the reply from the same gentleman with the top knot. The car came back with the wheels on wonky and therefore the tracking was out. I was told ?we don?t do tracking? by the same gentleman with the top knot. I then had to pay for another company in Birkenhead to repair their poor work. I?d like to add that said company said the work was especially poor.\\n\\nRecently I was driving to Paris so decided to have all 4 tyres replaced fresh by an independent tyre fitter. Upon replacing the tyres he noticed something odd. The tyre pressure sensor had been snapped off then glued and jammed into its slot. Which could only have been done by Apex as nobody else has performed works on the car. It also makes sense as to why the gentleman wouldn?t fix it as he knew he had broken it in the first place and either didn?t want to face his shoddy work or simply couldn?t be bothered. I imagine it?s a bit of both. I can?t believe they would knowingly allow for a car to leave their garage knowing it isn?t safe! I can only imagine what would?ve happened if I?d had a flat tyre and ended up in an accident!\\n\\nI?ll never use apex again. I also hope the gentleman with the top knot reads this and takes some time to improve his customer service. Without customers he would?ve have a salary to spend on ridiculous haircuts!

My grandfather has used the garage for a number of years. Previously happy with the service, this time he was very disappointed. He was charged £300 for patch welds on sills (not repair panels), £150 for four brake pipes and £50 for MOT. The car was at the garage over a week and returned damaged.

There was a bad review on Facebook but did not remain long and was removed by the owners. There is something wrong with customer care, the owners should trust the customer as much as the customers put trust in them.Service: Brake service & repair

There was no hassle. I needed to change appointment which was simple. The price was fantastic. I had first service and saved £ 65. Been using Apex for years.
