“Good place to get your car washed, not always consistent , I've paid for the top £12 a few times and the results are not always the same. This deal offers a free air freshener which is 50/50 if they bother to give it to you. The pre wash is also hut and miss depending on who is working.”

“Do you need gas! Good who doesn't need gas! So for those of us that don't have cars, you can come to this mighty fine establishment to buy the same things you could of gotten at the tesco next-door.”

“I had a wonderful experience here yesterday, after my car power failed whilst I was in the outside lane going towards the tunnel and had the fortune after managing to pull over, to stop at the exit to this BP station. I was in a terrible panic with no recovery contracts and on my own. After half an hour trying to secure recovery Sonja came out to see if I was alright and to tell me it was dangerous to stay in the car there. Sonja found 3 volunteers to help push my automatic car back and into the safety of the petrol station. (no mean feat on its own) She was amazing! she made me a cuppa tea, found someone who could recover my car and then sourced me a lift to work over in Birkenhead. I cannot thank her enough, she is bright, cheerful and so welcoming, she certainly made me smile in a very difficult situation. Thanks Sonja for taking the time to look after me, as you obviously look after all your customers. June 2023”

“Small one but easy to go get some diesel if living in tuebrook. The air is £1 for 7 mins of use, so i go there to pump my tyres as well. Only downside is you can’t pay at pumps, you would have to go inside the store to pay but they do accept cards and cash so not that big of a deal. Haven’t had any problems going there and being like out of fuel like many other places are so it is a good place if you live nearby”

“Typical shell station, petrol and diesel are more expensive then the competition which is usual, inside is small with amenities and snacks and also has a Costa Express machine. You can also pump up tyres here.”

“Shock horror - where has Starbucks gone? Not to worry, David offered 1st class training and support as we ventured into the world of Leon! My wife who is very particular about her coffee, said is was "very nice"! Phew!! Thank you David, for once again offering 1st class support and re-assurance at a time of potential 'crisis'!”

“I usually visit this place at night it I can't get to sleep and want to get stuff like soft drinks or cigs. I don't own a car, therefore I can't judge on its performance on selling petrol. Some of the items on sale are good prices, but I wouldn't recommend going here for a deal, which is understandable as it's mainly for roadside convenience, not a supermarket. I especially would not get any phone equipment like charging cables or data cables unless you are in an extremely dire situation in where you need one asap for whatever purpose. I'd recommend going elsewhere for those, as all phone cables are built for there respective specification, therefore they are all the same. A £1 cable will act the same as a £20 cable. When it comes to service, I have no issues. The chap in there was nice and that's it. Only real issue so to speak was some mess from shelving items, as in the plastic and cardboard covers for the items, but I don't personally mind it so it doesn't effect my rating.”
