“It's convenient and perfect on a Sunday out of hours of other shops. The shelving spaces for some of the chocolate are ridiculous and when I asked a member of staff why it's so cramped, they said 'to stop people robbing them', but it's stopping people buying them as well!”

“The local Lydiate shop that stocks everything. And never seems to shut either. I've popped in at 7am for milk and called in at 10pm for bread, its amazing how the staff can stand up, never mind remain so bright and cheerful. But they do. And they remember the little things, that's what makes this place so important. That beautiful, old school, personal touch. Why line a megastore owner from America's pocket when the little hardworking fella on the corner gives so much more attention and care? I'm sure The Walton Family don't know my grandson's age, name, or medical history. Or care. Y'know what, I fancy some part baked bread rolls. Catch you later x”

“Plenty of parking spaces . I can get everything I need in Tesco . Sometimes they have good offers . The only problem I have is they seem to have more cashier free tills now . They did have plenty of tills with cashiers . My last visit I counted only 5 tills with a cashier at the till.”

I could find neither.Please Tesco would you see that all of your stores are stocked with both cream horns and chocolate dips or sadly I'll have to take my business elsewhere. Aldi for example.”

“This has been my local off licence for the last two decades , when I am in town They sell all the popular beers ,ciders ,wines and liquors including San Miguel and Tequila. Here you can also buy that late night chocolate bar along with crisps etc. The staff are very friendly and I was pleased to find that they remembered my preferred drinks.”
