Wonderful helpful staff. However the store is a shadow of it's former self. The selection of marvel and DC figures are poor, and not really changed much. Although the graphic novels section is good. However 20 years ago the store was alive with huge selections, book signings and good atmosphere.

I was so disappointed, I'd recently been bought gift vouchers for Christmas and visited twice before I found anything . The layout is so muddled and seems to concentrate on promoting reduced remainder stock , the graphic novel section is tiny and the comic section is a terrible muddle .It's nothing like it used to be 20 years ago .I've been in better laid out charity shops

This shop does have a shelf full of Gundam/Gunpla model kits and a few shelves full of manga books. At Bold Street you can also find many other shops and restaurants, after your trip to Forbidden Planet.

Always helpful and nice staff, been coming here for years. Unfortunately the card machine was down today so I couldn't buy an art book for my brother and was in a rush to get back home so called up and asked what the title was called as I was unsure, they were more than happy to help.
