Branch is becoming pointless. Transfer from existing account to new supposed to be available in branch, by phone or on Internet. Branch by appointment only, at a different branch in 3 weeks, phone gets cut off as staff are busy. If it's Internet only....just admit it upfront.

I don?t understand why people have jobs dealing with the public when they are rude and also wrong about their own company policy.Cait has given me the most terrible attitude and advice going against the company?s own policy, I have Halifax on the phone contradicting what I am being told in this branch and yet other branch?s are completely fine and agree with head office.Avoid unless your using the cash machine

Bit of a surprise how big the branch is!!!!, I'm used to smaller branches lol!!!!, overall always happy to go in ( any branch ) staff always take there time and have a friendly chat, make sure you are happy and need any more help or advice ?

Absolutely appalling service. Trying to arrange a face to face appointment - unable to speak to a human. I've tried at 3 different times to avoid peak hours but on every occasion, the recording tells me they are 'particularly busy'. This message is telling me the hold will be 20 minutes.

I always struggle to get th the Halifax before 5 o'clock because of work, everytime I go to use the cash machine to deposit cash its always off. How are people meant to pay bills?.. Not a happy customer. ?

Great staff, great disabled access (or would be if prams weren't parked right next to the door giving little room for mobility scooters or wheelchairs to enter/exit). The staff are wonderful if you need any help with using the pay in machines or any other help. It could improve the service tho by having the low counter available rather than having to wait for the staff to log in on what seems to be slow, out of date computer software. It could also add a low use ATM. I'm sure if asked a member of staff will help you use the ATMs outside. This is the only Halifax branch I will use as the one in the city centre is very unhelpful and if you ask for help they can be rude.
