Embarrassing and mediocre service, the women working there are lazy and they will give you million excuses to not to do their job. They are racist or something, they way they treated me was a joke, they told me to upgrade an account I needed to be here in uk for more than 3 years and gave me many excuses more, I brought my council tax, bills, and they said that wasn't valid that now I need to be 3 years here to upgrade the account. Then when you go online the policy is different. When I asked, to showed me the policy that states what she said, she couldn't even give me an answer. They make you waste time and then laugh about it. Save yourself a headache and stay away from this bank and institution. I will be putting a complain

This bank has no counter staff.What has happened to the service for the elderly? I am so disappointed that I am reconsidering my patronage of HSBC. The staff that are here are helpful, but they do not have the functionality of real counter service!

Had an issue with moving money between my accounts. One was a business account and they said that's why they couldn't help. So if I needed help, I'd have to phone up and wait in a queue to ssi if they could help, maybe! Or I'd have to travel 5 miles into town. Very poor service. Not what they once were.

I came to old swan branch this morning for an appointment with Julie. I arrived early this was no problem for Julie, she got right to the point explained how the bank account that I wanted worked . she was interested in any problems that may have with the account. she was very good mannered patient, and most of all good at her job , may I say she is a credit to your bank.thank you Julie.

Opened new account online. Received debit card pin number. No telephone security number (required to set up app and online banking). Responded by e mail to tell them. No response received after SEVEN DAYS. rang their.. Ha ha ha. "customer support" based in INDIA. Sent out 19th December. Eleven days after opening account. Idiot in call centre asks me security questions. Fails security so locked out. He can't tell me what security failed. Based on call most likely he INPUTTED wrong digit. Now locked out. Security number in post no longer valid. Have to go into branch to verify ID to get it sorted. ABSOLUTE DISGRACE.. THREE branches in liverpool! ? As soon as its sorted account is being closed. DONE DESERVE TO HANDLE MY MONEY!!!

After finding a HSBC debit card I tried to contact lost card department by phone the robot asked for information that I as none customer would not have.Tried other HSBC numbers with no success ,still waiting for call back from one.I then decided go to nearest branch,at which I went to the queue at information desk the person at it was just finishing a conversation with previous customer, I said to her I won't be long so you can continue your conversation later she's then walked past me and spoke to person behind me ,who told her I was next in queue.I was now fed up with trying to do the right thing and getting poor response from HSBC maybe it's because I'm 79 years old so l don't count .I then told her I had found a debit card and dropped card on her desk and walked out she mumble something as I left the bank .If I find it a card in the future I will just destroy it , maybe I should have done that in first place this time.
