Really impressed with staff at Sainsbury?s Liverpool Central, especially Liam the duty manager who was there during my visit.Took the time out of a very clearly busy day in the store and guided me to the items I was looking for and assisted me with the fantastic orange juice machine that the store has!Outstanding, other stores could take some learning for that sort of customer care from staff

Currently charging £1:05 for a single pint of milk.... outrageous...I hope your customers hurt your pockets massively

The staff are always friendly and helpful but when wearing their headsets on the till. They can make errors, due to them chatting to one of there colleagues.

Having the misfortune to visit the branch at Liverpool central station I was confronted by security about not wearing my mask properly.I explained I was actually exempt due to a severe heart/lung condition which means if my breathing is restricted by wearing the mask constantly I would collapse. Security then told me "It doesn't matter if you die its the law"

Excellent staff in here always helpfully , especially little Joanne who does the reductions she is always smiling . Prices are good for a convenience store much cheaper than the CoOp

This branch of Sainsbury's is styled as Sainsbury's Local store, located in Liverpool Central on Ranelagh Street, it is probably one of the best places in the Liverpool Central station to get some essentials for your journey or to take home, odds are if you're at Liverpool Central station you would be heading home as it is mainly used for Merseyrail services in the local Merseyside area. The store inside isn't as modern as other Sainsbury's Local stores in city centres or even railway stations (compare to Manchester Piccadilly), but it gets the job done... well sort of. Selection of most items was small, especially the Free From section which was pretty much non-existent. Staff around the store didn't seem too helpful, I was told they didn't have a particular item, they didn't make as much effort as other stores have in the past to help me find it, taking one glance and just saying no, which was disappointing on both levels of service and stock. Location wise it is convenient if you are getting the train to get something for your journey or to take home, while not being the nicest convenience store in terms of overall feel and stock apart from that, considering service factors too which let the store down, I feel only a two-star rating saves it, which is mainly for providing a basic level of services to serve Liverpool Central station.

They seem to think that their closing time includes cashing up. So 10 mins before close I was denied entrance by their security man. Irritating.
