The food is great and so is the customer service. Another person said in a review 3 years ago that they stopped serving hot food, but they do now, so they must have changed it. The customer service is also good and they are quick enough. Only issue is it's a bit pricey, perhaps the prices could be brought down a bit. Other than that, it's very good. The room is great too.

This is located inside the LJMU building. The coffee was very expensive. I used to buy the odd sandwiches from here and they weren't nice to eat. They are catered for students as well as staff members.

Nowadays ppl can go many place to enjoy a hot drinknor a food. Why we choose an expensive one? Because we expect a friendly professional customer service, some chocolate on or drink or a marshmallow on kids hot chocolate which we asked to bring it to drinkable temperature (luckily i tasted first since i never trust them) The christmas brule latte is our of stock because of it is not xmas any more.. Said by the guy at the cashier.. But the other 3 drink are there and also Xmas songs is going on... Shame on you since 3/3times you can not provide thay drink.. Place a sticker or change the display 3 ppl talking behind but nobody can offer a help with our food and drink ofcourse. Business policy maybe. When the place is empty better not to help..

Ambiance could be nicer, but it fits well as a meeting place at the university. Service is like expected at Starbucks, just businesslike.

Dreadful staff ignoring customers. How difficult is it to keep chocolate in stock for cappuccinos? Always out of stock with the comment "dunno if we got none". Presumably translated into English this is "sorry Sir, we are out of stock". Avoid.

We were walking down to the Pier Head to see The Giants decided to call in for a drink to set us up. Thought that we would struggle to get a drink near were the giants were walking because of the large crowds. Service quick and friendly, coffee delish.

Absolutely terrible service every time. Staff always too busy chatting to each other rather than focusing on the customers. They?ve got my order wrong twice due to this. The staff also refused to heat up the food I bought on my most recent visit and made a big fuss about it. They finally agreed to heat up my food however, it was still stone cold when I received it. As I work in a Starbucks myself I work in the same environment with the same food and manchiery. I would never refused to heat up someone?s food unless there was a legitimate reason as to why I can?t. I won?t be returning. Staff need retraining on their customer service.

I came to an open day here with my parent and we were starving after 3 lectures which took over 3 hours. So we went to this Starbucks and to my disappointment the lady behind the counter said they are no longer serving hot food. Everyone in the queue was so mad (it was very busy) so we had to settle for some crisps and a hot drink.
