Usually cheaper than bents for most things, got a great deal on a Christmas tree recently. The cafe is great, lovely hot chocolate. And the ?posh fish finger sandwich? is one of the best value for money food items I?ve ever seen. It?s essentially fish and chips with mega bread.

Me and my mum went for a last minute lunch here today. Greeted by lovely staff who were more than happy to help us with food recommendations. We were really surprised with how reasonably priced the food was and of really good quality. We had toasted sandwiches and soup - we really enjoyed them, especially the soup! We spoke to the chef afterwards because we enjoyed it so much. Thanks again for a lovely little afternoon!

Went to buy a lawn mower. Seems reasonable thing to think a garden centre might have. But they didn't! They don't stock lawnmowers! Other than that we've used them in various guises for years and they do some very good plants.

A friend and myself went here for lunch today. What a shambles. We knew there was a 30min wait for food which was fine. Our drinks were brought straight away. After quite a wait a member of staff came to tell us that they had run out of jacket potatoes and would we like to order something else. They would refund the £1 that was owed or we could have another pot of tea which we opted for. The tea came quickly unlike the food. We had to ask how long our toasted sandwiches were going to be and were told they were being prepared now. When they arrived a few minutes later they looked like they had just been thrown on the plate with a bit of paltry salad on the side. My friends salad had started to go mushy and manky. By this time we were hungry so just decided to eat our lunch. It wasn?t up to the usual standard that we usually have. I spoke to the Manager(possibly) about the unsatisfactory food and service. He told me that they had had problems all day in the kitchen and that the ?He?in the kitchen couldn?t cope with the orders. We have lunch here quite often and normally get great service. Today has put us off going for a while.

Haven't taken my elderly mum here for a while as she's had a rough time and now uses a wheelchair. However we visited today and took our dog too. Thought it might be stressful to cope with both but on the contrary we had a lovely meal in the cafe. Food was served quickly, salads were fresh and varied, not just a token lettuce leaf and half a tomato.Staff were really helpful and dog friendly.Mum even bought some new comfy shoes. All in all no complaints.Looking forward to our next visit.

Only went in to kill time until my niece got home. Spent £1300 on garden furniture. Stay away from here, there's too much choice and so many lovely things. Its too late for me...save yourself!!

Visited Newbank Garden Centre on Tuesday 10/7/23 , with my lovely Mum. Mostly went to look for clothing as they have an amazing selection and shoes too Janet and the manager in the shoes section was so helpful and patient with my elderly Mum. Goes without saying that Newbank only stock quality items. We decided to eat there and have a treat .. and what a treat it was. Delicious , quality and presentation was lovely too. The service was very good in catering, and staff helpful. Thank you for a lovely day out.

A nice garden centre, but quite expensive. We love the works in there. The cafe is nice, but be aware there are spells when hot food is not available- bit great telling a hungry child they have to wait 30 mins for food! The food is nice, just a shame that food ain?t always availableCakes look nice, but are expensive, and not spectacular. Coffee was a disappointment- very pale and watery.

Visited, had lunch, browsed, and had coffee later in the afternoon.Such a lot to see, plants are well looked after and reasonably priced. We loved chatting to the staff who were very knowledgeable. Taking our new plants home....we'll be visiting again xx

Genuinely love this place. The breakfast is amazing and service is absolutely rapid. We go here fairly regularly as they are dog friendly, there is an outdoor seating area for you and your furry family members! My dog always gets her own sausage and she absolutely loves it!Plenty of purchasing opportunities with multiple businesses under one roof. Staff are always really friendly and there is a definite family feel about the place.

New owners this year. Was expecting more but a little disappointed. Maybe still on transition. It was ok but will have to go again.April 2023 busy and popular fully stocked and we got what we went for. A very wide selection of furnishings, shoes, lights, features and plants, seeds and sheds. To be congratulated.

This is a very smart garden centre with many dedicated areas including garden furniture, barbecue's, tools, food & drinks ready meals, pet food and accessories, bedding plants, restaurant etc,. Also a large outdoor section. Everywhere is extremely clean and tidy. Lots of parking too.
