I agree with Leah's review (posted 1 month ago) - very poor mental health support, this is sad because it used to be a very caring place. I was told by a receptionist that doctors \\\"don't do mental health, you have to see a support worker\\\". I was given an appointment several weeks away and made to feel as if I was a nuisance, it was very hurtful. Needless to say we no longer use this practice. But I must mention one positive - practice nurse Rachel Ridgway who's kind, supportive, professional, never hurried. Without her this would've been a one star review.

Worst doctors ever. Avoid at all costs ! Won't let you have a face to face appointment with your Dr even though you have been trying for three weeks. No wonder people with mental health issues top themselves with doctors like this.

Must say I have very mixed experiences with the Villa Medical Centre.I had check up at hospital, and never got results back from the Medical Centre (fortunately the hospital told me everything looked ok). I had blood tests a couple of weeks ago and am still awaiting results and phone call from the doctor. They totally messed up my appointment for PSA checks and now I have to wait 4 weeks for an appointment. Made me laugh - if you are concerned about your health go and see your doctor. Would love to

Fantastic GP practice - Dr Cockrell provided outstanding care for my Mum Jean who passed with re-occurring lung cancer. Nothing was too much trouble, his bedside manner with the elderly was appropriate and dignified. He was always responsive and available in Mums hours of need. Thank you to the Villa.

I seldom require the doctor however I needed to have a lump checked. I was told it was a wart and I would receive a further update for removal in two weeks. 8 weeks later I am still waiting in spite of me telephoning the surgery

Had a hearing test went back and the aids were useless reception did not want to no been back own gp awaiting a call did nothing help me

Can't understand the previous bad reviews. My wife and I moved to The Villa a few months ago and their service from reception, nurses, physio and doctors have been second to none. 100% improvement on our previous surgery Townfield Health centre, which deteriorated so badly that no full time doctors will stay there.

Stay well away from this awful practice. The receptionists are so rude and abrupt to the patients. Owners of the practice are also rude. Terrible place.

Disgusted in the way the receptionist spoke to my very ill dad ....just went to call the surgery as I will be make a formal complaint but its shut .....I will be calling in the morning.....disgraceful behavior and I am NOT accepting it.
