Most of the fresh produce is packaged making it impossible to buy a single onion or red pepper. Good costa machine.

I notice one of the other reviews says, '1 or 2 staff are very hard work'. I fully agree with this, but would actually say it's much higher than 1 or 2. On the whole, the staff in this place seem very unhappy, are unsmiling, unhelpful, and a couple of them are prone to angry outbursts. Out of all the different branches of the Coop that I use, I find Rainhill to be the most unpleasant in terms of customer service. To be fair, there are a few friendly, helpful members of staff, but these are largely outweighed by the miserable majority of them. Overall, quite an unenjoyable place to shop.

Everyday co-op store. Luck for us that the aftersun that we do badly needed, was in stock. And a good selection of summer alcohol drinks. Staff helpful to find items, and purchased items quickly and efficiently. Good store.
