A staff member called Adele was incredibly polite and helpful. My delivery was split into two parts and on a previous visit, only one part could be found. Adele was determined to find the other part to my order and by going above and beyond, she found it. Thank you so much Adele!

Tried to treat me like a criminal. Wouldn't refund 2.7k back to me as they claimed the item wasnt the same item that i bought. In the end i returned the item to another store (heaton park) they refunded no issues. Police were called to the st helens store by argos staff. waste of tax payers money.. Police told me to leave and there was nothing they could do. Pathetic staff who need to learn about retail.. Another store refunded. Won't be returning. Not everyday you loose a customer who spends 7k without batting an eye lid.. Pathetic

Been today to replace/exchange/return the vacuum cleaner that I've purchased in June.The staff tried to turn me away without a reason, explaining that I've must of snapped it, when obviously was a manufacturer fault.Called the helpline and in less that 5 minutes, I've received an email stating that Argos store needs to replace/return or exchange it as the item was less than 12 months. Yay, I must of seen as Karen to some people but I WAS RIGHT.On the other side, in front of me, a lady was returning an Apple watch and they've even helped her get through the Product support. So to me it seemed like a joke.Not professional staff and the length of waiting for the item, when there was 2 person available but doing nothing but daydreaming.Be aware when going in this store and make sure you've got all your details prior to speaking to the staff. Will save you a hassle.

I thought the whole point of Argos is that?s it?s meant to be a quick and convenient way to order items.Customer service was appalling, extremely slow. I ordered online, told items were ready to collect. But there were no staff manning the online collection point. Really poor service, defeats the whole point of Argos. I?ll be sticking with Amazon in the future.

Travelled to the store this afternoon from North East Manchester 35 miles (70 mile round trip) to collect a package, only to find the store closed (due to flood). No communication anywhere online stating the store was closed, which should be common practice for a retailer in this day and age. Numerous other disgruntled customers were stood outside the store who'd paid for items they were there to collect. Very poor customer service regards communication from Argos. No indication of when the store is likely to reopen either... online it states the store will be open tomorrow. Very doubtful this will be the case ??

As with the other poor reviews, customer service is appalling. More than happy to sell you products with a 14 days satisfaction guarantee, only to refuse to accept the product the very next day because you've used it.. Please tell me how you are meant to be satisfied with a product before using it?My mother has severe arthritis and she bought a coffee machine which she couldn't operate. The machines fixtures were poorly finished, and the connection for the coffee press was far too tight, even for me (30+ male who works with his hands).After being rudely rejected by your poorly trained staff and being told she's stuck with it, my mum later returned it at another store with no issue whatsoever.Take your business elsewhere guys and avoid this lot. Happy to take your money but not to help.

Tried to make a complaint multiple times about my experience with customer service (on the phone) and was told I would have a call back in 48 hours. No response and it?s been 2 weeks and I?ve tried calling multiple times and they just hang up on me and web chat just gets cut off. It now says my order isn?t recognised. Very disappointing from such a big company after being told I would get a refund on a faulty item. I suggest anything electrical buy from else where as their returns policy is awful and you will receive better service from another company.

Very poor, customer service from this store , was served by a rude assistant, who obviously shouldn't be in the retail business, no customer service skills at all , looked like she didn't want to be there, I took something back and her attitude was terrible, I asked to speak to her manager , the assistant then went to get the manager, were they both were both having a conversationbehind the stalls in the front .The manager came to the front desk with exactly the same unprofessional attitude, I felt so embarrassed in front of the other customers.As I was leaving the shop , I caught them both sniggering and laughing at my expense, when I asked them both are they laughing at me , the assistant said No they were having a private joke , it must have been a quick joke as it had been seconds before that the manager and I were talking to each other.I have never felt so degraded in my life.How do these two even get employed in this store.I phoned Customer service as soon as I left the store.I or my family and friends will never ever shop at this store ever again.Very unprofessional staff .

Do not buy a TV from these amateurs. I had a Hisense TV develop 2 faults within warranty. I spoke to Hisense and they tried to fix it via remote access and that didn't work. They told me to return it to the retailer which I did and they won't give me a refund. They have booked for someone to come to my house to try and repair it in 2 to 3 weeks. No main TV during the World Cup so i went to another retailer on the same retail park as Argos and bought another TV.
