I have been taking around 10 prepaid Royal Mail parcels here a week but had 17 the last time I went, they was only smallish parcel and only took about 3 minutes to scan with no one else waiting but the lady who runs it told me I should not be taking them there as it was too many parcels and I should have them collected, she was visibly annoyed, i tried to explain 3 times that Royal Mail always turn up whilst I?m on the school run but she didn?t seem to understand as she kept saying the same thing after I explained, I found her to be very rude, not just to me either as I?ve witnessed it before to others, i ended up feeling so uncomfortable I told her I wouldn?t be taking anymore parcels to her, even though she was rude I am not so still said thanks at the end but she just pushed the receipt to me and said nothing, whilst in the shop I usually buy sweet for my children too as I like to support local businesses but this business doesn?t deserve any support, it?s no wonder shops are closing down if they are treating customers like this. I have contacted Royal Mail with my concerns because they tell me to drop them off at a post office but this post office is telling me not to take them there, I will never use this post office again whilst it has this owner and will be travelling to Prescot who appreciate business. This post office needs to learn without customers they have no business.

She?s a bloody lovely woman, everyone says she?s very rude but if you worked in retail you?d be the same everyone is too soft and needs to chill out

As a post office manager in a neighbouring town, I'm ashamed to see this woman (Shirley chan) working for post office. Now I see when people say post staff are miserable, if this is the woman they have encountered. As I am currently on maternity leave I had the total displeasure of using this post office, after 5 mins of not even acknowledging that I was stood there despite there not being anyone else in the queue she proceeded to tell me that she couldn't do a certain transaction, when I politely told her she could as I know my job very well and it can be done, which she begrudgingly then did for me. Her manner is abrupt and rude. How she manages to stay open with an attitude like that il never know. Customer service is absoloutely shocking. Will not be using again, would rather make the 20min journey to my workplace.

Shirley Chan is presumably the manager. She is rude, abrasive, and condescending. I was owed money from the energy saving scheme on my electricity key, Mrs Chan made a note of this on the voucher and till receipt. When I attempted to redeem this Mrs Chan point-blank refused to even look at the paperwork which she had actually amended to acknowledge the outstanding amount owed. I have made a formal complaint regarding her incompetence and disgusting attitude which was apparent on more than one occasion.

Very rude Shirley is. The last time i went in i had a prepaid label, the QR code wouldn't scan so she proceeded to tell me off like a small child, i told her try the bar code but she just kept ranting. I told her she can also type the tracking number too. "it not work" and threw it back to me. 3 methods of entry and her bad attitude couldn't figure 1 of them out. So her poor attitude lost her the commission on this. I sell on ebay, live local and post maybe 2000 items a year. That £600+ commission shirley looses from me alone. I drive straight passed this post office after previous bad attitude and only went this time as i was in a rush. Wasted time took it to St Helens junction post office and it went straight through. Also if you look at the 5 star ratings, she has left one herself. And some of the other 5 star are suspicious too.

The woman who works here is trying to go out of business. Went in to pick up a parcel that had been delivered there. Showed my bank card "J Fatmilehin" .. "no has to be full name, how i know its you" went home got a bank statement "Jonathan Fatamilin" " no not same .. Parcel was addressed as John Fatamilin. Eventually it got returned and its now being sent out again. I'm surprised she is still in business, will have my parcels delivered elsewhere from now on. She can do without the commission it seems. Shes a total fire breathing dragon

i live nearby and come a lot for posting and returning items. the staff is actually quite nice and friendly if you also show your smile. people is like mirror, if you are polite, you get the same manner as well.

If you want to experience rude customer service then head down to Clockface post office. You will never meet a more ignorant, miserable shop assistant. She's snappy and angry and never in a good mood. Zero manners, which cost nothing. If you don't like living here, maybe return from whence you came. How she got this gig is a mystery. Avoid this joint at all costs
