Great location, reasonable prices, room not as clean as you would expect from travel lodge.Could not comment on service because you are given a room key on arrival, and you don't see any Oct else from that point onwards. Not even at check out. You just drop your room key in a box...

Suited our needs as staying with the dogs whist visiting our daughter and family. All staff friendly and helpful. Hotel and room clean and tidy if a little dated and tired .Noteworthy details: Ideal for all local amenities, walking distance to shops, cafes, Marina Lake and prom/beach. Super dog friendly

I must express my dissatisfaction with the overall experience during our stay at Travelodge Southport from 31/12/2023 to 2/12/2024. While I recognize the budget nature of the hotel, the cleanliness fell below acceptable standards. Dust was prevalent on various surfaces, including the sides, pictures, and TV, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. The bathroom was a cause for concern, exhibiting a distressing green dried substance around its edges. The shower's cleanliness was equally lacking, with a hair-clogged plug hole adding to the overall disappointment. In addition to the cleanliness issues, the noise within the hotel was a considerable drawback. Doors banging loudly and dogs barking were persistent disturbances that affected the quality of our stay. This noise disruption was not only unpleasant but also contributed to an overall sense of discomfort and inconvenience. To exacerbate matters, we opted for a late checkout, a service for which we were charged, but unfortunately, it was not implemented. This led to being locked out of the room, compounding our frustration.Regrettably, this initial experience at Travelodge Southport has left me unable to recommend this establishment to others. The combination of cleanliness issues and disruptive noise significantly detracted from the overall quality of our stay. Given these concerns, I am hesitant about considering Travelodge Southport for any future accommodation needs.

Modern Travelodge close to the centre. Plenty of places nearby for a breakfast. A church car park 5 min walk is £8.60 for 24 hrs.

Parking, even with a Blue Badge in January is stupidly expensive!!! We will not stay here again.

Was good I stayed 5 nights and the room was nice with a big comfy bed. Staff where helpful and polite. Didn't cost too much and was in a good location, only complaint was cobwebs on the walls and prices vary too muchNearby activities: Plenty of pubs and shops nearby and easy access to travel options
