My parcel was meant to be delivered today and I ensured I stayed at home to receive it. Not only was the carrier late, but I checked the tracking website and saw that my parcel's delivery was rescheduled because "the recipient was not at home". That is a complete lie and I am so frustrated because today was a much convenient time for me to receive this parcel.

Update @16/01/24. The parcel was delivered, and my apologies to the DHL staff because the Accommodation personnel where I have been staying, on accepting the items delivered today, pointed out to me that I had wrongly stated the room number, which shouldn't have included the floor number. Lastly, I had my name on the parcel, and the Accommodation staff couldn't match it with any of their current residents because our room was booked under my wife?s name. Trap for the uninitiated. Thank you, DHL, StayCity, and Brunch Club, for your assistance.

Stay the hell away from all dhl not first time now they've screwed up my delivery... parcels sat in parcel shop got no barcodes to pick them up and nobody at dhl helping me lost out on trip and money because of dhl complete and utter disgrace take money but don't help

Terrible unforgetable sad experience. Sent 4 small keys in one letter parcel to Romania, paid 25£ for express delivery as is very important to go fast. Arrived at DHL Custom in Bucharest and everything died there. Those from DHL Romania did not bother to even call the receiver to resolve the custom if needed any.My letter stood 1 week on the shelf totally igonred.I then took the plane and give the keys in person to the buyer as it was a sale transaction in progress.After 2 weeks the letter came back to DHL Speke and they arranged the return. After 3 weeks I finally got the envelope back noticing the address where it should have gone in the first place, was misstyped from the begining. No wonder it did not go to its destination. In short, the guy who sent it did not pay attention enough nor double checked everything to make sure it goes where it should.IIost precious time, money and nerves with poor DHL service from both ends.Avoid as much you can this company and find cheapper alternatives.
