Went to b&q to see if they sell wet and dry paper, walked around couldn?t find anything, found a female member of staff, she basically told me no we don?t stock it, she had no attempt to even go and look for it. I eventually found them myself.I went a few weeks ago, I needed wood to make a small panel, went to the station to get it cut to size told the guy who eventually arrived, he set the equipment up to then realise the wood I had was the wrong size, so belittled me because I had the wrong size piece of wood to another staff member. Just a thought, aren?t you meant to even help a customer?

Went B & Q to buy some plants and garden related goods. Quite satisfied with quality of products. Staff was quite supportive and helpful. Huge variety of household and industrial products are housed at B & Q.

Good range of products and many good offers. Free and spacious parking. Need more exits to this shopping centre.

Something I bought was more expensive than at the till than labeled in the shop . So I ask why go told that the price not my department to do anything about it an walked away . If she can't handle questions she shouldn't be doing the job. Paying somebody to just stand there what a joke of a store . One man doing all the work cos she couldn't handle it .

Me and my son were doing our weekly shopping in BnQ. Bought some paint and went to the astro turf, My son touched it and was screamed at by the ?manager? but I don?t think it is. We got on with it and stumbled across the showers but my son touched it and it switched on, he got drenched and a new ?manager? screamed at him and threatened to kick him out but I stood up for my son and had a good argument with him then it ended in a old women walking through us both and didn?t do a thing. I screamed ?I WANT TO SPEAK TO YOUR MANAGER? I got to, and he gave me a 60% discount for this and gave my son a free shower. Who doesn?t love a cheap trip to BnQ.

Visited today, 1st October 2023. I have downgraded my opinion of this store. Although it still has the same substantial range of products, accessing the store is now a nightmare. A McDonalds, with a drive-through, has been built on the store car park. There are long queues to get in and out, and crossing the car park to the store is dangerous. I'll be going elsewhere for my DIY products from now on. Whoever thought this was a good idea didn't think it through.

Totally useless DIY store and extremely expensive compared to other DIY outlets. Almost every time I have gone for specific common items they are not stocked. Will never bother using this chain store again.

Avoid this store. Store is fine, but since they built a McDonalds in the car park and didn?t alter the layout, it takes at least 20 minutes to get out of the car park on a weekend.

I hate b&q I only go out of extreme requirement but to be fair the staff seem to be much more polite of late! Was a nice quiet day and my grandson needs some paper for his bedroom wall, he is really into fishing at the moment and to his mums dismay and despite my best attempts he chose these lol

Massive shop your bound to find what you need. Check prices elsewhere as they're not always the cheapest. Plenty of choice so you could get all you want in one go.

Visited the store today to look for a large fire pit. There was one boxed on the shelf, another pile of them and I couldn?t see one on display. They were £80. I asked a really helpful female shop assistant with a hat on if they had one on display and she was very helpful in looking to see if there was one. She eventually asked another male member of staff if there was one on display, he said no. I asked if I could look at one inside one of the boxes to gage how big it was, he just said ?No, it is the size of the box? and refused to open one then walked away. How very helpful? not! I am not going to buy an £80 product that isn?t on display anywhere. I would suggest that you put one on display and also teach that male member of staff some customer service skills. You lost approximately £200 worth of sales today due to this man?s attitude. Unfortunately I didn?t get his name as he wasn?t around to help for long enough. ? He was bald and thin with a headset on. Thanks for being so helpful?. I?m off to Homebase

Went into buy some bolts nuts and washers to put a bed together where we had lost The hardware - found an area for bolts washers where you put them into a pre-size bag - it didn?t matter how many you put in the bag it was all one price That was fine, but there was no nuts in the same area had to walk 20 yards only pre-packed nuts and bolts.Told a B&Q assistant. There was no pre-bags on the rack to use and mention the nuts. The only way you could buy them is together pre-packed.Defeated the object 15 minutes to get into B&Q to park. What a waste of time finished up buying nothing . First B & Q store to do that won?t be going back any time soon
