Beefeater, one of the most valued restaurants names in the UK, has recently released their new menu which specialises meals starting at £5.
The menu includes five big favourites. Fish and Chips, Roasted Vegetable Linguine, a 6-ounce Gammon Steak, an Open Chicken Sandwich, and lastly, a Beef Steak Burger.
This new menu is open to customers from 12 until 6.30PM, Monday through Saturday, and will be available at 130 out of the current 150 Beefeater establishments.
Vegans and Vegetarians
Although we're focusing on Beefeater, Harvester have also released a new menu recently. The Mitchells and Butler's owner restaurant recently upped their game by releasing a menu which is designed to satisfy both vegans and vegetarians.
The menu includes 7 of the best vegan friendly main courses. Prices start from £7.99 and range up to £10.49. There are also a range of vegan and vegetarian friendly deserts available too!
Harvester put the menu on a trial period at only one-third of their restaurants before they decided to open it to all of their restaurants.
Similarly, JD Wetherspoon have also put together and released a menu designed for meals without meat or dairy.
While some restaurants are focusing on their menu, others are focusing on growth. Whitbread have recently announced their plans to open a new a "bar and block" restaurant in London. This new restaurant will provide a menu consisting of a range of steak meals, as well as several specials and a line of lunch options.
On top of this, Whitbread announced in April that it intends to cut down on their Costa coffee presence by at least 10% over the coming months.
With consideration to the fact that 29% of Whitbread customers enter the restaurant looking for a hot drink, this leaves other restaurants with an opportunity to take a chance and focus on their hot beverages.
