Following Home Bargain's announcement to expand their Maghull branch, developers have revealed that they will be providing more parking spaces to customers as a part of the £1 million expansion.
Home Bargains, the discount giant, have recently received permission to move their Maghull branch to a much bigger location in Merseyside.
LCP, the management group behind Central Square, recently concluded their redevelopment of some shop units which allowed for a huge 15,000 square-foot retail unit to be created as a part of their £1 million expansion plan.
Home Bargains have agreed to move into a 10,000 square-foot unit which will allow them to effectively double the size of their store, and have signed a 15-year lease in doing so.
LCP's asset manager, Matt Pegg, has told us that the group have been discussing with other retailers regarding the remaining units and that these discussions are going well so far.
On top of this redevelopment, LCP has plans to improve the general landscaping of the area and will be increasing the size of their car park in order to improve traffic around Central Square.
Matt Pegg stated, "Central Square is currently the home of many popular high street retail brands and we're doing all that we can to attract many others."
"At the moment, we are unable to announce an opening date for our new store, but we are currently in the recruitment process of our development and would encourage all of those who are interested in employment to visit our website for more information. We are constantly growing and so are constantly recruiting new staff.", a Home Bargains spokesperson has said.
Central Square is located in Maghull town centre and is a consumer hotspot. The area consists of many popular names including Superdrug, B&M Bargains, Costa, Dominos, and many others.
