The new Lidl supermarket is said to be a huge step up from their existing stores and so shoppers are eager to see what they have in store; no pun intended.
After impatient customers have idly waited, the grand opening date has now been released for this store.
Last year, Lidl were given permission for the destruction of the existing building, and planned to replace it with huge £4 million replacement of the building.
Since publishing the expected release of this supermarket on Facebook, The Gloucester community have proven to be rather excited for the release.
"I can't wait for the addition of this supermarket to our community. I hope that they have those baskets that have wheels and a long handle. I don't always require a trolley, but carrying a basket can be a pain!", stated Pauline Cheshire.
"Ever since it's been closed I've been excited about the reopening.", added Judy Anne.
Since establishing themselves in 1930, Lidl has opened 9,000 stores all across Europe; 620 of which are based in the UK.
