Sittingbourne Retail Park has been in the news for a while and people have been waiting eagerly for new stores to be opened.
Top executives from Marks and Spencer gave a confirmation that it will be open on 8th March for public. It will be located adjacent to Halfords, which was previously occupied by Lukehurst Furniture and as a result, there will be full-time and part-time employment opportunities for close to 70 people.
There will also be a bakery present along with a seating capacity of 48 people in the cafe, which will serve hot and cold drinks along with finger food and cakes.
The store manager of M&S would be Mark Miskin, who has been with the company for over five years and is a proven resource. He expressed his excitement in the opening of the new store, as people around Sittingbourne will be able to explore the Foodhall and will be delighted with the options served by the store.
M&S is planning to serve innovative fresh produce and offerings that are loved by M&S customers and there will also be dining and foodie gift options present that will be appropriate for upcoming events like Mother's Day and Easter.
Also, M&S Foodhall is planning to make it highly convenient to its customers by offering online ordering and alternatively, customers can also place their orders online and walk-in to collect their order.
The store is almost complete as of now and the final bit of finishing touches is still pending. Customers will be able to use the Click and Collect service at this store, where they will have to place their orders on M&S.com and they can collect it from the store on the next day.
The operational hours of the store will be 8 AM to 8 PM on weekdays and 10 AM to 4 PM on Sundays.
Also, the electronics giant Maplin will move next to M&S Foodhall, which was previously occupied by Paul Simon bed store.
