A new Starbucks location will be opening sometime in June, and will be located on the A30.
The new Starbucks location will replace the Little Chef which was located near Monkton.
Starbucks will be opening this new location with the intention of it being a roadside cafe, and have stated that it will bring over 15 new jobs.
A Starbucks spokeswoman stated, "We're excited to open a new Starbucks store and are even more excited that we will be partnering with Euro Garages to make this venture more of a success."
"The new Starbucks is going to be opening its doors at some point towards the end of June, we are still unsure of the exact date.", they continued.
Starbucks previously announced their plans to seize this business location at the start of the year and have announced their intentions to take the place of the previous Little Chef location.
Iain Chubb, the Shute District County Councillor told us, "Starbucks is a well-known coffee brand and when people see the name Starbucks, they know that they're going to receive a high-quality cup of coffee. Not only that, but the location is the perfect place for travellers to stop."
"The previous Little Chef location went unused for a long time. It's great to see that a recognised brand will be taking over the unit and turning it into a thriving business."
