New KFC in Drumchapel Had the Young Clydebank Footballers Cut the Ribbon

Offering over 50 new jobs to the community of Drumchapel, KFC have officially opened up a new restaurant location within the Great Western Retail Park .

The restaurant's management team decided to reach out to the Clydebank Boys football team, as the team train on the football pitch next to the restaurant, and had them cut the ribbon for the opening.

This opening has come only a few days after McDonalds had launched a new location. On top of that, a Starbucks is also in the process of being furbished in the retail park.

Future developments in this retail park include an Aldi as well as The Food Warehouse, which was only recently approved for development.

The KFC Operational Manager for Glasgow, Patricia Hamilton, told us, "This KFC restaurant is one of the best which I've had the pleasure to be a part of."

"Although I oversee all KFC restaurants in Glasgow, I've lived in the Clydebank area for my entire life and I'm happy to see that this restaurant is going to fulfil the employment needs of over 50 individuals. Words can't explain my excitement.", Patricia continued.
