As a regular local customer of old hall farm I can say with conviction that it?s produce of raw milks of different flavours to please any taste buds and fine self produced meats to any requirement is of top quality. It?s also a real pleasure to be aided in this by a butcher of knowledge to any question presented.Robert a topical looking cleaver holding large butcher is mainly my professional to this shopping enjoyment! You will never see a prouder man of his meat window is nothing less than an arrangement of art.And if this dose not help you in your quest to find the best butcher around then my I add the fine deli and shop that beholds many accompanying items to present along side your meats of choice. You are facilitated around this venue by Kelly who is the most friendly and helpful and indeed informative if you need of her.She welcomes you in, hovers around you until she?s knows your completely satisfied to only then wish you the best day while your leaving. Now Danny and all the butchers and stuff with in the shop and butcher area are friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. All in all, them and the fine foods and drinks make this with out shadow of a doubt one of the best.Thank you all at old hall farm for making me feel welcome every and each time I visit.

Always come here for milk and meatHave a lovely walk with our little one, say hello to all the animalsWas not impressed today by the butcher though. He was polite but nothing more and felt like my needs (over 100£ worth at the butcher's) were a bit of a burden, also I asked for some bones for stock. Only after coming home I realised I have a massive rack of ribs, meaning I can't fit it in the pot.. I only mention this because previously a different butcher saw them up and they were just perfect. Also, I feel that I've been overcharged for the bones. I was charged 4£ per kg this time whereas previously it's been about 1.50£So all in all, we love Old Hall farm but it's a bit of a hit and miss with the staff and if the bones truly are 4£/kg I don't think we'll be getting them for Old Hall farm anymore.

Excellent. Lovely, well stocked farm shop, beautiful butcher counter, filled from their own animals. Breakfast in the cafe was superb, friendly, local produce and quick. Adjacent to the carpark are some animals, even an Emu. Highly recommended ?

Really love their milk and stand behind what they?re doing here, however I do feel their customer service really does them a disservice. Rebecca in particular was rude and condescending on the phone after they mis-delivered my order to my billing address, not delivery address. She did not take ownership of the mistake, or apologise for the inconvenience. Rather, Rebecca was firstly concerned whether the mis-delivered milk would be wasted and demanded I should find someone that could collect it, then repeatedly asked why my billing address and shipping address were different; I was then scolded for not having changed them in a move. I appreciate farmers are under a lot of pressure, and could hear the stress in Rebecca?s tone, but frankly the way I was treated and the inquisition I faced was unacceptable and unprofessional. I kindly explained I needed a new order sent or refund, which was promised to happen later that day but I am still chasing a response. No reply to any of my emails ever. Really unfortunate that I?ll be taking my business elsewhere once I manage the refund. I do wish Old Hall Farm the best, and hope they can allocate more better-mannered people to managing the physical farm/shop/and online shop with their customer?s interests at their forefront as it is clear they are operating beyond capacity.

Had breakfast here for my birthday and the eggs Benedict?s was ok but cold when served however my partners pancakes were burnt and cold! I understand food service can be slow at times when busy but this particular morning we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time. The service was extremely slow, it was very overpriced for what we were served and for the service that came with it. The only thing I haven?t got to complain about was my 18month olds scrambled egg we actually had to wait for this to Cool down before she could eat it, which isn?t a complaint would rather wait for something to cool than be cold. You will see below that David clearly is my partner by both reviews being very similar. I can assure you that the reviews are not being left just for ?kicks and giggles?, and personally I think that?s a very unprofessional approach to take insinuating that. We are both very busy so granted it has taken a bit of time to leave a review, but I can give you the date and time we visited if necessary. Also leaving a sarcastic comment about spelling shows more unprofessionalism, yes well done for bringing awareness to this but actually just try to be aware that people do struggle and suffer from dyslexia on a day to day basis and that comments like these can have an effect on confidence. I?m not normally the type of person to leave a negative review I don?t like it to have a reflection on us but quite frankly your staff didn?t seem to have the attitude or want to know how our food or experience was on the morning. Personally they seemed like they would of rather been at home and not at work at all and the service we received wasn?t great.

I believe the owner of the farm is a woman by the name of Rebecca. Now because of the products she sells my health has improved rapidly, and I have been ordering from this farm every few weeks or a month. So if I ever meet her and I am passing by in her city I will go to her farm and give her roses.

Not sure why so few reviews so let's go!Once you get over you're In a cafe not a pub (guessing you know already before going lol) it's bloody brilliant. The two roasts we had were two of the best in the last year or so. Excellent gravy. Pork and Turkey, extra cauliflower cheese. Lovely veg.Fantastic roast potatoes. Everything just great. We hunted around to find the cows and had a chat with the goat before leaving. And even bought some sausages and bacon.Great place. Can't wait to return.

Was a fantastic place to shop and eat. I highly recommend Old Hall Farm. So nice to chill and have a wonderful different tasty meal.We have been at least 8 x times and so far we have not been disappointed with food we ordered from board its always some pleasant surprise, staff have changed and not as friendly so atmosphere isn't the same so we stopped going for while. The butchers counter is overrated cheap cuts of steak sold at over the average prices to make the snobs like my girlfriend who went to a boarding school think they are getting quality. However the Deli counter is fantastic and their dairy produce I also recommend, but if you need new shoe leather than visit the butchers
