Couldn?t have been easier. Arrived at 9 40, no queue, two ladies behind the counter, got served straight away for a driving licence renewal with a picture taken, as we were served a couple of customers came in and the second lady came to the counter and served them. Having read other reviews, my expectations were a little low but I was really impressed with the service provided.

In full agreement with the other reviewers, Post Office staff are lovely but there just isn't ever enough of them to meet busy high street demand. Only two active serving kiosks of which, often times, only one is open at a time. As a result, waiting times can approach an hour just to be served, and are often over 20 minutes.

I wish I could give the staff 5 stars and everything else a ZERO star BUT I cant.The staff are brilliant, helpful and friendly but its dreadfully understaffed, you will face long queues whether you go there early in the morning or 11am Saturday morning. Recently I queued for 30 mins only to be told that they couldn't take payments by card.The sorting office have stopped selling postage so this puts even more strain on the post office.I think the main problem is that their is no real profit for WHSmiths in postage. They do offer currency exchange but who in their right mind would queue so long for that when there must be at least 10 other places in Kings Lynn do that.Like I say, I give 5 stars to the staff but 0 stars to everything else.

Dreadful. Cutting down staff trying to save labour for what? It?s the main post office in town it?s always busy. The queues won?t make people use your online services, not everyone can do stuff online. Very inconsiderate with the people who struggle with technology and cannot be standing 1h in a queue! . Also providing other services such a currency exchange passport pics etc? Focus on one thing if you will cut the staff down. Staff go slow too but it?s not fair on them to have all that workload and the customers having to wait ages?

Longest queue and poor staff that can?t serve anyone! Seen fat people walk up a hill faster than they can serve people! Should employ some lidl staff, would be more profitable and productive.0 stars

Due to post office cost cutting with staffing levels you will have to queue no matter the time of day. The fault is not with the staff who are constantly working I have witnessed them missing their breaks on more than one occasion due to customer levels. I've always experienced great, friendly and helpful service.If anyone wants to moan about the post office I'd suggest contacting the Head office directly a Google review won't achieve anything at all.

Its always huge queue and 1 window open. You can spend 40-50 minutes in the queue easily.Better to come early morning or late before they shut!

Not once have I been served in less than 15 minutes. There is always a huge cue and staff that do not care 1 bit.

Sent a letter from here with first class and tracked and it has not been handed to Royal Mail at all and it was given to them on Saturday with the expectation that there would be some updates where the letter is but none has happened I wouldn't use this post office as they don't do their job it seems at all

Poked away at the back of a dreary run down WH Smith, the experience of finding the Post Office in amongst a jumble of shelves is quite unpleasant. Sadly they are massively understaffed at all times so there is normally a lengthy queue. However the staff themselves are pleasant and helpful despite being under continual pressure and, I suspect, unpleasant contractual arrangements.
