Wouldn't bother with this place at all , not all staff but most are moody and not nice they have attitude problems.The website is shocking and takes about half hour to do anything and worst of all I tried to ring up to find out when my appointment was and they never answered the phone over 45 minutes of ringing no answer whatsoever.If you want nice and friendly easy customer service or in fact any service at all please do not come to BOOTS OPTICIANS

Quite possibly the worst opticians in Norwich. l had an eye test and when l tried to ring for an appointment to choose some glasses it is absolutely impossible to get through to anyone even after pressing every option. A absolute shambles and a complete waste of time. Its no wonder so many people go to speck savers. Never again Boots.Your future looks grim.

Orders do not turn up at the store on time. They do not pick up the phone so it is impossible to speak to them to make any enquiries. Would not recommend.

Excellent staff and service.A new prescription and spectacles rescued my eyes from the potential damage caused by another local optician.Highly recommended!

Covid safe, friendly staff for initial greeting , but unbelievable and unacceptable long wait ! With no explanation! It was my 89 year old mother s appointment. So she needed me to take her. I was told she would be 40-45 minutes instead of which she was 1 and a half hours! Most of that waiting to be seen after the initial checks . She was told it could be 15 minutes that?s all! But was an extra 45 minutes . Meanwhile I am wandering around in Boots for the last 45 minutes after she should have been finished - total waste of time, and of course it cost us an extra hour on the car park . Her appointment ran into her hearing appointment (should have been an hour in between) so she was in there for almost 3 hours! Why give appointment times and not stick to them?

Based on the service and care that I received instore it should be 5 stars. But as I am currently trying to cancel an appointment that I no longer need and I am unable to get through to anyone on the phone, I will just have to not turn up on the day and the appointment that someone else could have had instead will be ridiculously wasted.

Thank you Richard. You helped my aunty who was having trouble with her varifocals. She was very distressed and you were patient and kind to her and she now is in love with her glasses. It is staff like you take make visit turn from distress to impress.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Appointments are always 30-45 mins late, can never get through on the phone. Wish I'd never switched from specsavers. Have been trying all week to get through to get my prescription so I can order from a company with actual customer service but still no answer.

Phone waiting times are awful, I've seen others comment saying they have poor wait times from months ago and I can confirm this hasn't changed! All I want to do is pick a pair of glasses with the prescription I've already got! There's only options to book an eye test but what about other appointments like picking and fitting glasses?

Had a fantastic service from the young girl showing me glasses, she was most helpful in helping me choose my glasses I wasn't rushed into buying the first pair, I felt she knew her job inside out.But trying to contact the store is diabolical to amend an appointment, in the end I contacted head office and they couldn't get through neither, the phone constantly rings, I know we are in a difficult time with covid 19, But please could someone answer the phone!!!!!

Signed up to the reward scheme and was told I was entitled to replacement lenses if damaged or lost ....... I damaged one so went into boots castle mall and was told they didnâ??t have any of the type i required (fair enough) was told that they would order some and would contact me in a couple of days to come and collect (again fair enough) 4 weeks later still not heard anything and been so long my next batch has come through so if thatâ??s the state of your customer services I shall be taking my custom to a more proactive supplier, update after having an accident and broke my glasses the shop was unhelpful so I wrote to customer care, even more unhelpful, promised a reply in 48 hours,took 7 days to be about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike have just phoned up and cancelled everything as the service I've received has been poor and have got nowhere, there are plenty of providers out there so I have nothing to lose ? A 2 star company will be an improvement on the service I have received from boots

I was impressed with the level of care and friendliness i experienced whilst having my eye test and also during the purchase of my new glasses !My opitician was Emma Lawrence whom i would thoroughly recommend her easy going manner and professionalism made me think i could not have had a better person checking my eyes . went away happy !

Had an appointment waited over an hour counted 20 plus staff wandering around and my optician was changed only after I complained this isn't the first time my self and my partner have been kept waiting don't think we will be returning??
