Poor service, miserable staff, not enough staff.

Staff are the best and very polite and friendly, however trying to phone the Castle Mall Opticians is practically impossible to get through unless you have a spare 30 mins or more to get through and pressing 1, 4, 1, 4, and so on. Even if you are prepared to wait, chances are you won?t get through or you?ll hang up in frustration. To BOOTS get a grip on the phone service, asap!!!!!

Rather than offering to help me with the strange device on the shelf, seemingly there to stop shoplifter even though the item has a tag, the security guard stood close behind me and glared at me like I was a thief. What a poor performance, if he was any good at his job I wouldn't have noticed he was there.I won't be in any hurry to return.

Only disappointment about this place is they don't actually sell any Boots.

.Boots Castle quarter isn't looking it's best.. Quite a few shelves are looking a bit sparse. I couldn't find any staff on the shop floor when I was looking for a particular item eventually I left. I managed to find what I was looking for in Boots in Chapelfield. Chantry place.

The Boots shop in Norwich Castle Mall left me with a mixed impression. While they were satisfactory overall, certain aspects could have been improved. Regarding product availability, I must admit that they had a wide range of options that catered to my needs. Specifically, I was on the lookout for sun cream due to the scorching heatwave we were experiencing at the time. Fortunately, Boots had a considerable selection, ensuring I found the right product. ??However, my shopping experience was hindered by some inconveniences. It is customary for seasonal items like summer essentials to be situated on the upper floor, and this was indeed the case. Unfortunately, I encountered a setback when I discovered that both the escalator and the lift were out of order. This meant that customers, including myself, had to use the stairs. Although this may not have been a significant issue for most people, I realised that individuals with disabilities or those reliant on wheelchairs would have faced substantial difficulties accessing the upper level. It was disappointing to learn that such an essential accessibility feature was malfunctioning. ???Despite the inconvenience, I appreciated the efforts made by the staff. However, I couldn't help but notice that they seemed understaffed during my visit. This shortage was evident as it took time to locate an available staff member for assistance. Nevertheless, the person who eventually checked us out displayed a friendly and accommodating attitude, which helped alleviate some of the frustration caused by the other issues. ???Overall, Boots at Norwich Castle Mall provided a satisfactory shopping experience regarding product availability and friendly customer service. However, the lack of functioning escalators and lifts, coupled with the staff shortage, detracted from the overall experience. These aspects should be addressed to ensure a more convenient and accessible shopping environment for all customers. ?????????????

Huge store, helpful staff, usual Boots stuff. Excellent Optician department for eye test and glasses. Feels a calmer store than Chantry Place.
