Not to sure what the point in this store is anymore. I went to the PC World part for some speaker for a PC. As a place that sell computers I figured this would be a good shop for that. Indeed they had a couple of sets, but only for display. If you wanted them you had to order them online, but if you go online they have a lot more to choose from. Skip the store and just go online, save your self the trip.

Do NOT order for delivery. I ordered a £1600 fridge freezer for delivery. Nothing on the website about not delivering up any steps. The delivery men have refused to deliver on â??health and safetyâ?? grounds and customer services have told me to fix the issue myself. Iâ??m in a wheelchair.....how exactly am I supposed to lift an american fridge freezer into my house? Thatâ??s why I bought online for delivery.
Theyâ??re offering to collect the fridge freezer, from where it stands outside my back door in the rain, but not lift it the 30 inches into my home.

I had to ask a couple of times for assistance. It was quiet in the store, staff were chatting in groups, yet no one offered assistance and I was there for some time. However, when the right person was found who could assist, they were very helpful and despite the product being out of stock were able to get it delivered next day (a Sunday) with no hassle. Delivery service was excellent.

The customer service was awful. Took me ages to find someone willing to talk to me then told that nothing is kept in stock so I pointed out there are signs against packaged goods saying take me away. The response was oh I didn't know. Took ages to find out make and price of these. I got this info. So said I would have one. She went to walk away and I said I need assistance to get fridge freezer to till and car and it seemed too much bother. At that point I walked away.
I am a landlord that spends lots on electrical goods but will stay with Hughes as they have good customer service.
Have not come across such bad attitude for a long time.
This lady is a bad advert for yr company.

Staff appear to do the bare minimum here. Groups of 3 or 4 staff members hanging around chatting, and others on their phones. It seemed more like a social day than work.
There are of course exceptions to this. The chap that served me was helpful, polite and knowledgeable a real credit to the store. Scott I think his name was. And the customer service desk were very nice. There is a handful of great staff! Just a shame about the others.
Management may need to look at this.
