Got my stuff sorted out. The staff is helpful and are doing best possible. Is placed right in the heart of the city so it is busy most of the time (mainly Sturdays)Thanks guys, keep up the good work.

Just ran out crying, the worst post office I Have ever been to.I queue for half hour to get certified documents so I can claim my inheritance as my dad has passed and they say I need more copies so I go and get these then I get told I need two copies of each so I go and get these and I ask if there?s anything I can doI had queued up twice for over an hour the guy says I can?t make any promisesI burst into tears because my toddler is with me screaming and instead of helping when both staff at WHSmith were sitting still and the other 2 working at the post office they said they couldn?t help and I?d have the ask the queueI burst into tears and walked offHow unhelpful!! I told him my situationWorst service ever

I counted more than 20 people waiting in line for 2 staffed counters at 11am today. Royal mail has reduced the number of staff to a skeleton service, closed the local substation and make life very difficult for customers who have to or want to interact with a person at a branch.

Very understaffed, which in turn makes staff unhappy/unhelpful and customers agitated. Unpleasant experience for everyone, desperately needs to change coming toward the Christmas period

Got here and they stated they were closed early because there was a staff shortage. It wasn?t stated online anywhere. They didn?t even bother to apologize for it.

Keep changing their closing times! Just turned up at 5.24 and store closed. Even tho had 6 mins and some reason post office have changed their times to closer 5 mins earlier.

06.02.2023 Sometimes slow counter service if there is a long queue. No international postage which is a bit annoying.Can buy envelopes, boxes and tape but have to pay for them first in WH Smith.Try and encourage the self pay machines but postage rates/sizing is too complicated.

Terrible service, went for passport renewal, lady told us they were to busy as they only had one member of staff at 10.30 on a Saturday, asked us to go back after 11am, returned, queued for 20 minutes did the same lady to say ?the system still isn?t working!? Not sure I believed her, she just couldn?t be bothered as they were busy! Not enough staff for a main post office!!

Every time I go to this post office there are queues out the door. One counter assistant only and rhe other staff are trying to organise folks to use the complicated posting machines. I dread having to go there

Staff member told me my small parcel would cost £65 to send, when I pointed out this was ridiculous, he kept saying that was what the computer was saying. He obviously couldn't think for himself and his one brain cell was working hard. Went over to the self posting place. It cost £7. How does someone like that get a job there. Frightening.

Do not give money to this place. Extremely poor customer service. Rude and very likely also racist. I am new to this post office and and was confused by the labelling of each station. I would've happily queued if I knew where it was but I mistakenly jumped it by talking to the lady behind the window before another old white lady, who was treated with utmost respect. I made a normal mistake but got rudely scolded by her and dirty looks by the man inside. There is no need to be nice but at least have some minimal sense of respect to all people, not just those who look like you. I will not come here ever again and I advice any other non white or British people to go else where despite its convenient location. Don't let them treat us like this and vote with your money. Hope this place has more kindness someday.

Three staff behind the counter, at least another three unmanned service points, and thirty people in the queue, at times the three staff became two as one of them kept disappearing, it took me forever to get to the front and finally be served, i have to give credit to the lady who served me, she was polite and efficient, so the star is hers, as for the other two male staff that just looked fed up and couldn't be bothered, they need to find a job elsewhere if they are not happy, along with under staffing, this post office is a shambles.

Decided to update my passport here as the post office website clearly states the whole digital application process is available. No its not!! One employee on duty only who informed me the service is not available, there's not even a photo booth in operation but here's a paper application form. I pointed out the website says the service is available but was told it couldn't be because of being in Smiths and the post office has no control of its website content for Norwich as its in Smith's! Awful service.
