I do not like leaving negative reviews, but nor do I like dishonesty.\\n\\nI was using PAYG as a Three customer for years and was happy with the value. But a call to their customer service centre to resolve a top-up problem led to me being put through to a high pressure salesman who talked me into a contract.\\n\\nHe was not transparent about a set up fee or about extra charges I could accidentally occur, and did, so I complained that I had been mis-sold the contract and believed it had been closed off.\\n\\nShortly after the death of a parent, when I was not on top form, I was attracted by a sale offer (pre Covid) at this branch for a two year contract with all-you-can-eat data and minutes.\\n\\nI told Kirsty, who seemed very helpful (apart from talking very slowly and loudly at me when I said I was visually impaired) that I had had an issue with Three and she went into the back for about 5 minutes to check my eligibility.\\n\\nShe came out and told me there were no outstanding issues and I could be signed up as a new customer.\\n\\nI have since moved house, but a debt collection agency has recently caught up with me and I now have to settle an inflated debt with them from my earlier Three account.\\n\\nI appreciate it was my fault I ran this debt up in the first place. But I do not understand why I was allowed to sign a new contract and feel I was taken advantage of when I was dealing with a bereavement but trying to put on a brave face.\\n\\nI am happy with my current contract but will be switching providers when it ends because of my experience with this particular branch.\\n\\nFool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. We live and learn.

The shop is clean, well staffed and orderly. I went in to chase up an internet order with the aim of sorting it all out. Although the lady in the shop put me in touch with the right department on the phone... That department of Three let them down. The department said my details etc had not gone through correctly, yet had sent an email confirmation, and called, asking me to return a call, where I was asked to enter my phone number, which it then rejected. They then offered another deal which I didn't want. So I could not allow the order to proceed any further.

Went to go and get my phone upgraded. Was welcomed by member of staff and the worker who served me was fantastic. So lovely and helpful and couldn't complain.

I visited the store today to ask about how to set up broadband and talked to Kirstie, she was really helpful and even managed to get a better deal for me than I had been able to find online. The whole team there was really friendly and welcoming

I always find the staff in 3 very knowledgeable and helpful without pressuring for sales. I have several contracts with 3 and as my children have got better phones I have had to get new sim cards to fit and the staff habe always been very obliging and pleasant to speak to. We spoke to Lewis yesterday and as well as helping us out with a new sim card, he offered to LOWER our bills and pointed out where the closest outlet we could use our Wuntu app was, so we got free I've cream too. Job's a good'un! The only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is because there is quite often a wait to be attended to and yesterday myself and my wife waited for around 20 minutes before being acknowledged by a member of staff.

Absolutely horrible experience with Three.
It is very suspicious that most of the 5* reviews here say little or nothing about what is so great at this phone store. Perhaps making genuine sounding content up is too much effort? One review even mentions how great the food is! It's a phone shop! Most of the reviews about how dreadful it is contain plenty of writing. Are the 5* reviews fake? You decide.
I run a local business with plenty of genuine 5* feedback online so I know it when I see it. If any of my staff spoke to a customer as I was spoken to by one member of staff in this store today they would be immediately dismissed. End of. P45 in the post.
The problems?
1) Shop staff had no authority to fix a genuine problem that they could clearly see.
2) Staff had nobody with any authority to call once they realised that they couldn't sort the problem themselves. Either that or they would rather pick a fight than bother.
3) Lying and rudeness was the go to defense for lack of authority to fix a problem.
It's quite amazing that they're still open. I will be thrilled once the trauma of being a Three customer is finally over!
